Gate Street Cottage is named after the street is is located on, and has been there for over 100 years!. It is litterally steps from the main shopping, dining and theatre district. From the covered front veranda that stretches the with of the house you can see the historic Niagara-on-the-Lake golf course and the beautiful Lake Ontario where it meets the mighty Niagara River. You will also watch the horse drawn carriages go by your front garden and just beyond that you can see the shops on Queen St. This is the ultimate location. You can walk to everything. The parks are just a few steps away, go an enjoy that extra glas of local wine, because you can walk home from any one of the numerous restaurants and taverns, anything from 5 star dining, to fish and chips to a sandwich on the go.. it is right there. Also close is the shopping, antiques, boutiques, wine stores, groceries... you can shop, drop, and shop some more!
Don't worry about the noise because you are to close to Queen St., because , afterall , this is still Niagara-on-the-Lake! This quiet gem of a town is full of old world character and charm!
