Windsor Cottage Lake House is located in the picturesque Berkshire town of North Adams. Home to the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and next door to Williamstown, Massachusetts home of the Clark Art Institute and Williams College. It is a short drive to the top of the highest mountain in Massachusetts, Mt. Greylock and you can go hiking, fishing or boating right from our doorstep. We are also a short drive from the Berkshire Mall, Pittsfield, Lenox, Stockbridge and Lee. You can enjoy all of what the Berkshires and Southern Vermont has to offer from this spectacular location and still be less than 3 hours from either Boston or New York City. We have parking for two cars and you can walk to the local library (1 mile) or to the college (1/2 mile). If you like to bike, the scenic Ashuwilticook Rail Trail is about 5 miles away in Adams, Massachusetts. You will ride along the Hoosic River, through stunning wetlands, and along Cheshire Lake if you venture the full length of the trail to Lanesborough. There are adventure parks with zip lines and other challenges close by at Jiminy Peak, Berkshire East and Zoar Outdoor. There truly is something for everyone in this amazing area.
