Description

The Holt in Elmham Mill is a one bedroom apartment in a converted watermill on an island created by the river Wensum in a private and secluded setting behind electric gates. The apartment is situated on the first floor (there is a lift for those who need it), with stunning rural views up the river.

There are just 8 flats in the mill and are a mix of holiday and residential ownership.

Set in communal gardens of about 3 acres there is an abundance of wildlife, perfect for birdwatchers, and those wanting a quiet retreat.

North Elmham is conveniently situated halfway between the stunning beaches of the north Norfolk coast and the shops and history of Norwich. The village boasts 2 public houses and a village shop along with a post office/café.

Linens are all supplied and there are a selection of books, dvds and games for your entertainment.

Getting around

North Elmham about 5 miles from Dereham, the nearest town, which has free parking in several car parks and a bus service in to Norwich, Kings Lynn, Great Yarmouth and Peterborough. There is a bus to Dereham from the village 1 mile away.

superb appartment with everything needed .The wildlife was stunning including , goldfinch, blue tits ,great tits,chafinch , pheasant, swans , moorhens and kingfisher . But top was the Barn Owl . Wow

“Peaceful”

What a beautiful location. A lot of thought had been put in to making the place a real home from home.The apartment had everything we needed , the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped . Some lovely personal touches ( milk and chocks in fridge and biscuits,coffee and tea in cupboard).Denise was very friendly and welcoming and informative about nice places to visit in the area. I wished we could have stayed longer.
