good value for money

Left on Aug 08, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The cottage was newly refurbished to a good standard. It was very clean. The park was quiet and adjoined a large woodland which had many beautiful pathways. There were no real facilities for children on site and so it was quiet which we preferred. There was a small welcome pack. There are no shops on site or nearby so it is important to bring essential groceries. It is concealed off the road …

Beautifully presented warm, cosy cottage

Left on Dec 03, 2009 for a stay in October 2008

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was well equipped, very well presented, warm and cosy. The surrounding countryside and beaches are stunning. The only slight thing we were not aware of was the proximity to the A!. Although that was great for travelling around the area, it was rather noisy from about 6am onwards with all the commuter and work traffic. It did not spoil our holiday but …

FINE

Left on Dec 03, 2009 for a stay in October 2009

The cottage was up to our expectations in all but one item. The toilets took too long to flush after use, even though there were two. Both took up to 1/4 hour to be ready for the next person.

We were warned that the Aga cooker was slow, so it was no suprise that our meals tended to be after their alotted time.

Overall though we would return in the future.

Left on Aug 18, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We rented this cottage for a week of fly fishing in Chatton. We spent a wonderfull week even when we did not catch a lot but appreciated the lovely cottage as well as our neighbours. The cottage was perfect and we loved it.

Only problem was the connection for mobile. Every time we had to walk up the street until we found the right place to phone. funny! But we will be back one day!

Peaceful and Quiet.

Left on Jan 16, 2014 for a stay in October 2013

Holy Island is a lovely place. A great beaches which our dog loved also loads of walks. We went on the island on day 1 and didn't leave the island till the day to go home(day 3). Would definitely go there again. The house was lovely and the views were spectacular, especially the seals. Only thing was it was a bit pricey for 3 nights but that wouldn't stop us going again.
