Cianciana has all the usual facilities of a small town, 2 banks, doctors, a supermarket (which for its size stocks about everything in Sicily!), florist, butchers, a bakery on every street, small grocery shops selling the freshest of veggies and fruit (I've lost count), hairdressers, weekly market, post office, library, museum, 3 Churches, entertainment, open air bar, lots of little bars and cafes, 2 pizzerias and a traditional Sicilian restaurant.
I hope you would never need it but there is a helicopter service, police station and there are so many plumbers and builders merchants you really have got everything there even a kitchen sink should you ever need one!
Parking outside the house, and car hire is an advantageous optional during you stay in Sicily, although there is a very efficiently operated bus service which links all major towns and airports. Transfer time by car from the airport is approximately one and a half hours from either Trapani or Palermo and a little longer by bus.
To ensure client service we answer all enquiries almost immediately.

If you wish to experience unspoilt Sicily and live alongside the villagers then this is the holiday for you. Although the accommodation is basic it is clean and colourful. The village itself is welcoming and charming. Beautiful architecture and bars and shops are all within walking distance. Although the beaches are a 20-30 min car drive away (the nicest beach has Roman ruins close by and is predominantly used by the locals), it's well worth the mountainous drive. I absolutely loved it and so did my companion. We felt extremely healthy and refreshed after staying for a week and I would so love to return. We took a day trip to Mount Etna and I've never seen anything so incredible. We had fantastic weather and I completely fell in love with Sicily.
P.S. I must admit it helped that we both loved football as we were able to ingratiate ourselves to the locals in a bar that had a TV on the verandah.

Our family of four had a very enjoyable stay in the authentic sicilian town of cianciana, untouched by tourism. The house is centrally located, a five minute stroll from the central piazza with a small selection of pizzerias, bars and ice cream parlours. Beautiful unspoilt nature reserve beaches within 30 minutes drive on quiet mountain roads. The house was exactly as advertised and our children enjoyed the independence of their ground floor bedroom with en suite bathroom. The house does not have lounge seating, but a spacious kitchen/dining area with large glass table and chairs - not an issue for us as we were in the house ouly to shower, eat and sleep! Owner was extremely friendly and helpful, would recommend this rustic house if you want to experience unspoilt sicily at its best!

Beautiful traditional Sicilian townhouse, comfortably equipped with a modern kitchen, 2 modern shower rooms and two large bedrooms. The rooms were clean, spacious and well laid out with the ground floor bedroom with double doors leading to the quiet street. The main bedroom has a beautiful balcony as does the top floor kitchen with views of the lovely countryside and the valley below.
Cianciana is a quaint town with the most welcoming people I have ever met. All the amenities you would expect with a lovely bakery just a few streets away and many shops selling the most delicious food nearby.
Plenty to see and do but would recommend a hire car to really experience the breath taking delights this beautiful island has to offer.
I had the good fortune of visiting in Spring and the countryside was breathtakingly beautiful, lush and green with spring flowers covering the hillside amongst the many arrays of Olive and citrus groves. We had a wonderful trip and would love to visit there again someday.
Would definitely recommend La Casa Francestina as a place to stay.
