Check-in was quick, easy and convenient to Bearadise. Service was
friendly and quick to answer any and all questions. Staff was very well
informed and familiar with the area.
Bearadise is a lovely house ready to handle 10 people comfortably and with plenty of rooms to provide all the privacy needed. It has a nice 2nd story deck with a beautiful view and a hot tub also!
Being a quiet and private location sealed the deal for me.

Long and Foster was easy to work with for reservations. Enjoyed the information at the home regarding activities, local attractions, and house amenities. The house was a nice size and layout for our party of 8; lots of hot water and bathrooms. House had all essentials for preparing/eating meals including fire wood and chairs for the fire pit. There was a variety of games/puzzles available for all age groups to enjoy at the house. The scenery was beautiful and private. The location was great; we did not have to travel far to find activities for the day.
Long and Foster provided great service when we were locked out of our house the first day. They responded promptly, even though it was during their busy time (check ins). If we decide to vacation in this area again, we would definitely use Long and Foster.

Let me start by saying that the majority of the lodging experience was quite good. The hot tub worked as advertised and the house was actually more attractive on the inside than the online photos made it seem. However, this was overshadowed by the fact that none of the three cars my group used to get to the house were able to climb the relatively steep road that connected the house to the main road. Being the first to arrive at the house, I called Long and Foster and was basically told to go purchase chains for the four wheel drive SUV I was attempting to get up the absurdly icy road. I found this response ridiculous, but understood that because Long and Foster didn't know the number of the person responsible for plowing the subject road, we were likely out of luck. So we decided to park all three cars at the bottom of the icy road and walk all of our stuff up to the house (about 1000 feet or so in a couple inches of snow with a moderate layer of ice underneath. Needless to say this was a rather treacherous walk and we slipped and fell multiple times, as we were carrying bags full of groceries and clothing/other supplies. Altogether, the fact that Long and Foster did not provide any resolution to the problem for over a day (the driveway was never plowed and only by early evening the next day was anything done to try and make the road passable). I have contemplated asking for a minimal refund, due to the fact that we had to climb a hill several times just to get all of our things into the house, but don't want to deal with Long and Foster customer service anymore to do so. There was also an issue with the heating on the bottom floor of the rental, but that issue was resolved promptly Saturday morning. I definitely will not be staying at Bearadise again, unless I can have some kind of commitment from the owners/Long and Foster that the house will be accessible from the main road.

Bearadise was a very nice, cozy cabin that had all the expected amenities. I would recommend the cabin to friends, except during periods of expected snowfall. We arrived at the cabin on Friday night, just as the snow plows were also arriving. They told us they would be back the next morning to clear out additional snow, but never showed up. In short, Long and Foster's plow contractor did not show up until almost 10:00 PM on Saturday! What did this mean? We had to shovel literally for 12 hours trying to clear out the driveway and private access road. Our efforts were saved only when we flagged down a snow plow truck from another cabin rental company. Interesting how they had no problems getting plows to their customers.

We rented Bearadise to meet with family coming from the East and had a great weekend. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for cooking. We will certainly do this again in the Deep Creek area.
