“Always a great time”

Great location at the North end of the lake with clear and deep water off the dock. The L&F; staff is especially great, service oriented, and accommodating. Special thanks to L&F; staff member alicia for the special service helping us retrieve our lost "puppy" (an especially important stuffed animal belonging to our young one that was overlooked and left behind under the linens). We visit DCR almost every year, and wouldn't hesitate to go through L&F;.

We were not happy with the "Goodwill reject" furnishings. We expected a bit better for the price of the rental. However, we prefer to take our dog with us on vacation and this was one of the few "pet-friendly" lakefront rentals with a private dock.
Please note that the "stairs" to the lake are in very bad condition. They are essentially a hazard with a lawsuit waiting to happen. The property is overgrown and there appears to be healthy poison ivy growth.
“Fair value for rustic lakefront property needing updates”

The home is spacious & a fair value but needs to be refreshed. Bed covers & furniture looked worn, deck furniture & landscaping require attention. Overall the location is great for boating and dock usage--just be prepared for the climb back up to the house. The free wi-fi was a welcome benefit & the hot tub is like new!
We enjoyed being able to bring our dogs and had a wonderful vacation on Deep Creek Lake.

Enjoyed the house very much. Had everything we needed. Great week to spend with the family. Would definitely rent again as we like to bring our "kids" (beagle and aussie) and this house had allowed us to do that. Thanks for allowing our "kids" to come.

The inside of the house is breathtaking. We have rented it for several years and the view both inside and out of the back of the home is great! The lake backs onto the house with a dock all this and it is also dog friendly. The only negative is over the last couple of years the lot including the drive way has become overgrown! The house on each side are kept up and look great from the outside but not Lakeside memories. Too bad for the neighbors. Adding wifi would be an added plus for the house.

We have been coming to deep creek for almost 30 years and it is always a great experience, and Long and Foster's online rental process is simple and easy, as is check-in and check-out. The house was a good layout, well furnished, moderatley well maintained and convenient to the lake. However, while the house was tidied up, it was not vacuumed, kitchen floors were not clean, actually quite sticky, and we found trash and old clothes in tucked way places, notably under the beds. I would just as likely give business to Long and Foster, as well as Railey and Coldwell Banker, the other biggies around the lake, but urge them to follow up on their cleaning crews and practices. We left the house much cleaner than when we arrived.

The house was very nice, we enjoyed our stay. If we could change anything the outside shrubery around the house was extremely over grown, the basement was very musty and damp, the mattresses on the beds in the basement were uncomfortable. If the dehumidifier could be turned on a few days before guest arrival it may help with the dampness. The master bedroom was terrific, the layout of the house was also very nice. The pots and pans are old and some were not useable. Plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses. Overall we enjoyed our vacation and found the neigbors very friendly. Thank you

The house was everything that we expected. It was well maintained just as a rental house would be. Everything worked and it was comfortable. The only thing that I would warn anyone renting theis house is that the walk down to the lake is about 150 yards - it is not a problem for the average person but if you have an issue with walking up and down hills/steps you will find the walk to the lake difficult.
Once youa re down ot the lake it is wonderful. Swimming/fishing/boating form the dock is fun. The water was refreshing -not hot and not cold.
