Come and spend your vacation in the country side near the cultural metropolitan areas of Potsdam and Berlin. Enjoy the city life of the German Capital or visit the amazing gardens of Sanssouci Castle. Blend in with the locals at the farmers market of Oberhavel or be enchanted by crystal clear Lake Stechlin, just as poet Fontane was back then. Marwitz borders the protected landscape 'Kraemer Forst' - a forest stretching over 4000 hectares with some of the most beautiful hiking trails and bike paths. If you want to visit Berlin without the hassle of finding parking leave your car here and take train line S25 for quick access to the city. There are also nice restaurants and stores right here in our village that are only a 2-3 minute walk away. We are located near airports, train stations and right by a bus line but if necessary we will also happily come and pick you up from where you are. From hiking, swimming, horse back riding, wind surfing, dancing, shopping - this area has it all.

This 1500 square feet two level loft apartment has a wide view towards Berlin. The four separate rest areas offer 4-6 people relaxation and the opportunity to find some privacy after an interesting day. You may watch an interesting movie on TV (Digital TV), borrow an interesting book or game from our library or explore the romantic garden with a seating area, lawn games, and pets. The apartment also offers everything needed for business. There is an office nook, wireless internet and telephone. The kitchen including a large dining room table offers everything needed for self-catering.

But the former summer residence of Friedrich the Great and its park with many additional sights is not the only thing that makes it worthwhile to visit Potsdam. The historical quarters of the city like the Russian colony Alexandrowka, the Dutch quarter, and the former Bohemian weaver quarter give Potsdam typical European city feel. Other things Potsdam has to offer are the film park, a nature adventure world 'biosphere', the Volkspark on the former German Federal Garden Show compound, recreational navy, royal property Bornstedt as well as a manifold cultural spectrum in the Schiffbaugasse in the historical center of Potsdam.
