An exotic pearl in the Philippines, close to Cebu/ Mactan International Airport. A perfect place to stay during your vacation. Backpackers also love this place where they can mingle with the locals and learn more about the local culture.

The newest trend in vacations is now experience rather than relaxation. In Sagastrand, we can offer both. You can spend your time in Sagastrand and use the facilities there, and you can explore Olango Island or the nearest islets, dive or take a city tour among others.

Social profile:

As a consequence of our experience with contributions to the local society, we plan to use parts of the profit to support cultural and educational activities. This will be a benefit for both the school and the local inhabitants. By now we are supporting the local kindergarten/pre-school and some local sports arrangements. The development of the project will also give positive effects, by hiring locals both during the construction period, and to run the project. This will improve their income and make their life a bit easier.

There have many visitors joining us on our vacations, in all ages and where everyone have had a great time. Also most of them have returned later. Here are beautiful surroundings and a safe environment, and at the same time the city is very near to get all your needs fulfilled. Many tourists visit the village in conjunction with trips to the bird- and the fish sanctuary.

The room is on Olango Island and one of a few places in Olango where you can get food served and a place to sleep over. The nearest big city, Cebu, is less than 1 hour away and snorkelling and diving sites is on our doorstep.

Trips and activities can be arranged by the staff.

The suite is located on the second floor and has high standard in European-Philippine style with bright and clean rooms and with a spectacular view towards the sea, Mactan Island and Cebu. There are mosquito screens on the windows, TV, aircon, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms with toilet and shower with hot and cold water.

The famous Olango Island wildlife sanctuary is just a 10 min walk away. There is also a fish sanctuary for snorkelling and fish feeding just outside the property. To get here you can either walk for 5 min via a 450 m long boardwalk or go by boat
