Set in a tranquil bay, bordered by the St. Lawrence Islands National Park, the newly restored 134-year-old hand adzed log cabin enjoys spectacular sunsets and views in all directions. The property is very upscale with your own 2 story, 2 bedroom cabin with all the comfort and amenities of a luxury home, yet on your own private island. It provides a unique holiday off the beaten track. It is the perfect remedy for anyone seeking adventure and escape with utter privacy yet without isolation.
The river is lovely for fishing and swimming, with summer water temperatures usually in the mid 70s as there are several natural underwater warm water ‘springs’ near the dock. At Honey Bee, you enjoy water so clear you think that you are swimming in an aquarium. If you are looking to rough it, this is the wrong place. Paddle your own canoe or kayak through wilderness routes in the nearby wildlife refuge or fish in a world-class angler's paradise on this huge body of water.
The Cabin is tucked away under pine and oak trees. Waken to the songbirds and watch the sunrise over Hill Island while sipping your morning coffee out on the deck. Hearing the water lapping on the rocks through the open screened windows at night, makes for a restful sleep. Relaxing on your own private Island, it's just ..ahhhhhhhh! Yet, all conveniences are just minutes away. Supermarkets, restaurants, liquor stores, post office, churches, pharmacy, just everything including a hospital is available within minutes in Alexandria Bay directly by boat to their respective docks or by car to Gananoque.

My family was so thrilled to have our vacation at Honey Bee Island and can't wait to return! The home is beautiful and so peaceful with lots of personal touches. The location is fabulous and you are surrounded by Mother Nature. Planning our vacation was so smooth and such an enjoyment we couldn't have been happier. Truly a trip of a lifetime! Thank you so much we have pictures that we love to share and can't wait to return for another week. Jumping off the dock every morning into the beautiful water and having a better kitchen to cook in then mine at home, was a treat!
Thank you Cassie,
We look forward to having you back for you to see what we have added to improve your bedroom. We are constantly having custom woodwork done to our Adirondack styled cabin by local artisans. The experience will be better than ever this summer and next
“A slice of heaven”

My girlfriend and I stayed at Honey Bee Island in mid-August last year. It was an amazing trip that we will never forget and definitely repeat again in the near future.
We spent a lot of time on our private island enjoying Bbq's, picking the wild blueberries that cover the island, swimming in the crystal clear waters and snorkeling (the fish and turtles are everywhere!). We watched the Beaver dam for activity across the rift and the Osprey in their nest.
So much wildlife surrounds you and yet you enter the cabin and have all the modern luxuries you could want. Tv, Satellite, fully equipped kitchen, a small bathroom and Wi-Fi can be found all over the entire island.
We rented jet skis, we ate at restaurants that we boated to right on the water and even went scuba diving to old ship wrecks in the main channels. It is heaven on earth and we highly recommend the thousand islands area but if you're going to go- do it the right way and stay on your own private island!
Wow! Thank you so much. We do strive to make our guest's stay as pleasant as possible but it's hard to beat what the island itself and the surrounding area has to offer. Still, not a year goes by that we don't add some serious upgrades. We want it to simply get better and better.
“We loved this place!!”

We stayed here several times and most recently in august of 2011. We could not believe the wonderful upgrades to the porch and dock area. We lacked nothing as it is a fully equiped kitchen, island wide WiFI, satellite TV and incredibly comfortable beds. They had to drag us out of there at the end of the week. The cabin was super clean, and they were very helpful in getting us settled in. The swimming is in slow moving current, crystal clear water and the boating is spectacular. We will return again and again for sure.
