Cottage Profile This two-storey, 1400 square foot waterfront cottage is located in the heart of Ontario's finest four-season destination area, within easy access to Historic Downtown Collingwood, Georgian Bay, Blue Mountain, Scenic Caves, and a wide variety of area events and attractions. The main floor of the cottage features an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with a high vaulted ceiling, wood fireplace, and large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the living room there are two comfortable couches and a chair with ottoman, along with a TV with cable - a great spot for a relaxing morning coffee or enjoying an evening movie. The dining room table can accommodate six people and has a patio door to the outside deck with views of the bay. The large windows bring in plenty of natural light and give you a view of the outdoors as well as out to the bay. Conveniently located next to the dining room is the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with all the essential dishes, etc that you will need during your stay and includes fridge, stove/oven, and microwave. Also on the main level of the cottage is a bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a three-piece bathroom a shower. There is an open staircase to the upper level where there are two more bedrooms and a four-piece bathroom with tub/shower. One of these bedrooms has a queen bed while in the other there are two singles. All of the bedrooms in the cottage have ceiling fans. On the deck at the cottage there are three lounge chairs, and you can relax in the shade or sun. The deck faces the bay and is perfect for taking advantage of the view. There is also a gas BBQ for grilling your favourite summer meals. It's just a short walk from the cottage to the bay. The yard between the cottage and the bay is grassed and there is an environmentally friendly naturalized shoreline directly in front of the cottage. Beside the cottage property is a cleared public shoreline access. The water depth increases gradually for easy access to the bay for swimming or just splashing around. This would also make a great spot to launch your canoe or kayak if you have one. The area provides great year-round opportunities for outdoor enjoyment! You will also find an extensive trail network for walking, jogging and cycling. Check out the Scenic Caves tour or play a round of golf at any of the area courses. It is also just a short drive to shopping, dining, entertainment, arts & culture attractions, and the Saturday morning farmers market in downtown Collingwood during the summer.
