Why visit Orosi? The Orosi Valley is a landscape of topical hues. The rainforest of Tapanti and the Alto Cedral Cloud Forest paint a background of various shades of green, teeming with wildlife. Every turn of the road provides a new diversity of colors and terrain. Located south of Cartago, the Orosi Valley is a true jewel. Famous for its beautiful views, colonial churches, coffee farms, white water rivers, hot springs and Lake Cachí, the Orosi Valley and surrounding towns are like a birthday present, waiting to be opened. The small quaint villages offer a unique location where you can relax and enjoy a real slice of Costa Rican life. During coffee picking season, September through January, the valley comes to life. The pickers can be heard singing and talking in the fields as they pick the worlds best coffee.
It is easy to book activities such as: guided local tours, mountain biking, horse back riding, hiking, water rafting, and other interesting activities to keep active during the day.TripAdvisor property ID 2379237...Read more
