Surrounded by beautiful grounds with easy access to Hwy 69 and I-435, our 1200ft2, our 1 bedroom guest home is perfect for executives, in-town visitors, light assisted living or a private getaway!
"Be our Guest" space is an oasis for comfortable for traveling or relocating business executives, students, couples, and in-town guests. We also welcome those needing light assisted living arrangements*. Our one-bedroom home has 15-ft ceilings, wood floors, tile, and beautiful carpet as we redecorated upon moving in one year ago. The furnishings are brand new, including luxury bedding, silk couches and mahogany coffee table. Outside you can enjoy an expansive private patio, access to miles of walking and riding trails, heated in-ground pool, and quiet spacious 5-acre lot.

-Great room with Dining Table for 4, two couches, coffee table, gas fireplace, 42-inch flatscreen TV. Sliding glass doors to 240-ft2 covered porch with seasonal outdoor furnishings.
-Kitchen is fully equipped with walk in pantry, high-top eating bar, oven, electric stovetop, side by side refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, coffee maker, cooking and dish ware.
-Bathroom with soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. Towels, hair dryer and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) provided.
-Master bedroom with queen bed, luxury bedding, large walk-in closet and washer-dryer.
Lower Level: The lower level features a one-room versatile space where, depending on your needs, we can discuss accommodating additional sleeping space, kids toys, etc.

We are situated on a 5 acre lot that backs to two lovely neighborhoods. Our landscaped and treed lot has a swimming pool (during summer months), gazebo, fire pit, grape and berry vines, and soccer field. Our family would love to share these with you!
We have outside parking available, and may be able to accommodate one-car in a garage if necessary.
Interaction with Guests
We fully respect your privacy while here and are available via phone to answer questions or address your needs before, during, and after your stay. AND, while our guest home is a completely separate building joined by a covered porch from our garage, we look forward to welcoming you and interacting as you wish.
We are happy to accommodate the lower level living space and any requests by pre-stocking the kitchen, holiday decorating, and special occasion items (flowers, etc.). Cost to purchase these items plus a small service fee will be applied to your stay.
Given our recent move to the area, we are discovering many new places...we are happy to share our 'findings' and 'favorite spots' so you can get the most from your stay with us as well.
PLEASE NOTE we have strict safety policies in effect for the grounds and pool area. We ask that our guests refrain from smoking, shoes off inside, and keep eating and drinking in the kitchen and dining area only to preserve the current condition of our home. We ask that you consider a 'no trace' protocol when departing, allowing the space to regain as much of it's look and feel as when you arrived. We will handle deep cleaning, and every effort to minimize the impact while enjoying your stay to the fullest!
Rated in the top 10 best places to live in the nation, and we agree! We are situated close to everything in KC in the Overland Park/Leawood/Olathe area. Front yard access to miles of hiking and biking trails which link to Tomahawk Creek system. If you enjoy golf, we've got it! Within 10 minutes you can access private and public golf courses (St. Andrews, Sykes Lady, Lionsgate, Deer Creek, and more). Only 1 mile to Overland Park Soccer Complex and Deanna Rose Farmstead!
