The entire home fronts the Mission Beach Boardwalk, with unobstructed beach and water views from every room in the house! This unique home has an open kitchen which expands to a cozy family room with large flat screen HDTV.
The large wood deck on the boardwalk has an outdoor dining table, and is the perfect place to watch the crashing surf and enjoy people watching along the boardwalk.
Neighborhood shops and restaurants are all within walking distance!

We just returned from a fun filled four night stay at the Mission Beach Icon beach house! First of all, the views from the property were just amazing...every room in the house has a direct ocean view. What a way to start the day by waking up to the sights and sounds of the crashing waves on Mission Beach! One morning we were even lucky enough to see dolphins swimming in the waves! One note, though, the property is older and a bit dated, the only reason I gave it 4 stars...but it has so much character it is a easy trade-off!
We rented bikes and long boards, just riding them up and down the boardwalk...so fun! The people watching was a highlight as we sat on the deck and soaked in the sun. We were literally steps from the soft sand and enjoyed playing frisbee and taking long walks. There are lots of restaurants and bars with-in waking distance, plus a large grocery store...no need to really drive anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
p.s. Bluewater Vacation Homes staff are the best...we will definitely use this company again for our future vacation home rentals!
"Exactly what you'd hope for a beach-front house!"

Fantastic beach-side rental for our reunion of a group of grad school friends. House is gorgeous, right on the boardwalk in front of the beach. We grilled, people-watched, played volleyball, and just enjoyed what Mission Beach was all about! The house is right in the heart of everything. One note...tiny garage so if you have a big car you'll have trouble parking in the garage.
Staff was great and very helpful in addressing all our questions and needs. We couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks for helping facilitate a great trip for our group!

Our family of 4 recently rented this Mission Beach Icon and we had a fabulous time! The location is terrific! The house is fun and the view is awesome. One morning we woke up and saw that we had a school of dolphins playing in the waves, in front of the house. We were able to watch them swim around and we didn't even have to lift our heads off the pillow. We stayed at this house for 9 days and during that time family, friends and relatives came to visit us. They were able to stay at the Surfer Hotel, just a short walk down the boardwalk. We ate a bunch of meals at the World Famous Seafood restaurant that's connected to the Surfer hotel and everything worked out terrific! I highly recommend the Clam Chowder at World Famous! Everyone enjoyed our vacation in Mission Beach and we're already looking forward to next year.

I can't say enough about the excellent service leading up to, during, and after my stay at the Mission Beach Icon property in Feb 2012! Kendra Krause and the rest of the Team at Bluewater Vacation Homes couldn't have been more helpful, flexible, and accommodating throughout the whole process. The property was amazing and the location was great! I definitely would recommend staying at this location!

Stayed in the house for one week together with 5 other guys. The space is well enough for 5-6 people sharing the beds so it was perfect!
The location just on the beach front walk is great with a nice outside seating area with a fire place and nice view.
Bluewater helped us arrange a nice welcome with cold champagne waiting upon our arrival in a very customer friendly way which was very appreciated!
I would recommend this house anytime but if you want sun and beach I suggest going earlier than October when the weather and beach life outside is more lovely, then it should be even better!

Dream come true to stay in a beautful home on the ocean walk. Waking up to that expansive view of the ocean was dreamy. Kendra with Flipkey and BlueWater Vacation was terrific: helpful, friendly and easy to get in contact with. She was a prefect local contact.
