About the castle:
An authentic, fully furnished, just recently renovated traditional castle with great views. A luxury castle with all its essentials.
Around 2 centuries ago, our grandparents decided to build a castle for their winter stays and to protect themselves from rivalries.
On the ground floor you can find the olive press that our family owned to provide the residents of the nearby villages their olive oil.
The stone house untouched by the years is ready to accommodate you, your family and friends to enjoy unique holidays.
The renovation took into consideration the traditional character of the castle keeping it unspoiled, while adding some modern touches. The materials used are mainly the local stone and wood. The castle is fully equipped with electrical appliances and other amenities in order to make your stay comfortable.
All 4 bedrooms will easily accommodate 10 people. Furthermore, 2 sofa beds are provided in the living room for sleep.
Staying in a castle is a unique experience on its own! Certain artefacts scattered around the house will make you feel the history and the ambience that the house has. It will definitely make you feel like living centuries ago!
You are given the opportunity to spend time travelling around Peloponnese. This region is full of history and sightseeing.
From the famous Sparta, land of Leonidas and the brave 300, to cape Matapa, where the gates of Ades (the Underworld) were supposed to be.
Please note that we can supply a couple of bicycles, of which some are for young kids, please ask in advance!
Also, you are able to travel around the coasts of Peloponnese and enjoy the famous Greek sun, sky and beaches.
At your arrival on the region of Mani there are great little villages with lovely beaches like Marmari, Vatheia and Gerolimenas. These villages are a great place to taste traditional Greek food as well as the local recipes that the residents cook from the local olives, pork and locust beans. Great Peloponnese wine will accompany your Mani Experience to a higher level of satisfaction.
Mani is a great place to start discovering the unique beauties of authentic Greece all around the year. Every season has something unique to provide. Appropriate both in the hot summer, as well as the winter time where a more "rough" version of Mani will unveil. Come to us to explore the unspoiled nature of Greece and Mani Experience relaxing, swimming, cycling, hiking, hunting and breathing fresh air.
Children UNDER 8 stay for free! 8 or older need to pay. For more info ask , as we can offer this to some of the kids.

Close to the property is a historical church, basketball ground and a small playground, all within walking distance.
Cot can be supplied if asked in advance.
We can give you more advice concerning your sightseeing or anything else you may require. Please, do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
When the property is rented out, the owner will be there to greet you and give you the keys for your stay!
Checkout needs to be around 1 pm the latest. PROPERTY IS SUITABLE AND AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND!

“This was a fabulous place to stay!”
We truly enjoyed our stay in this Mani Castle. To be living in an ancient but modernized place was magical. The owners very generously left our refrigerator stocked with wine, beer, olive oil and watermelon (to name a few) and kindly pointed out all the many nearby tavernas and beaches. Our favorite taverna was a small local one in Stavri, which is walking distance from the castle. Wonderful people and incredible homemade food! There are many beautiful beaches within a few minutes drive, but our favorite was Marmari Beach about 25 minutes drive - incredible scenery along the way, sandy beach, clear, warm water and lounge chairs with umbrellas to have drinks served to us. Our communications with Sara, who speaks perfect English, were delightful. In short, I highly recommend this experience for something truly unique and special.

“lovely castle, peaceful location”
Well what to say if you want quirky and peace full this is the place to go ! Mani is an amazing place in Greece its full of architecture and history but with the added bonus of these mini style castles around ! We opted for this one for a week as I needed a break from everything and this place delivered exactly what I wanted and more ! The rooms are cosy, clean and well maintained. The owners very nice and very helpful. Parking is plentiful and the views across the vast fields of love trees mesmerizing ! Can't recommend this place enough worth every penny ! You will not be disappointed. If your looking for somewhere different to relax then this is your place !
