I am a 32-year-old attorney who, for the last several years, has allowed my scheduled to become a monstrous thing. I neglected taking a vacation, telling myself that I simply did not have the time. I began to sense a growing resentment from my young wife, and my 5-year-old daughter began mentioning trips that she would like to take.
On a whim, late in the season, I began reviewing condos in Hilton Head, and was immediately interested by some deals on the Beach Properties web site. I was particularly interest by 212 Barrington Court because the interior design seemed to have a family touch (as opposed to a hotel like quality). I booked a stay for the week of august 11 through the 18 (if memory serves).
The worst part about the trip was the drive from Cleveland, Ohio. We also had a 3-month-old tagging along. However, when we arrived, the place was everything we had hoped for. Spacious, luxurious, secluded, safe, well-equipped, steps from the beach, well-maintained...in short, I could not have chosen a better suited suite had I spent hours researching.
The vacation was exactly what the family needed. I got swimmer's ear and went to the ER three times. However, I must tell you that I was in and out in under an hour each time (make an appointment on www.inquicker.com; seriously). The drive home was torture, not so much because of the experience of driving, but because of what was growing distant in our rear view mirror.
Here is the truth: I am a "particular" person, who is not ashamed to require the best from people. I am going to Hilton Head again next year. I cannot think of a single reason why I would not book my stay through Beach Properties. We may even return to 212, if it is available. I cannot wait to fill the refrigerator from the Piggly Wiggly; to visit the Salty Dog; to ride my rental bike up and down the beach with my children. Writing this review, in a way, is its own torment.

My husband, son, and I are regular visitors to HHI, and we try to stay in the Barrington properties because of the proximity to the ocean, amenities, and comfort. This condo is beautifully decorated, fully equipped in comparison to others that we've stayed in, clean, and bug-free. There is very easy access to the beach and pool. We were comfortable and felt at-home.
Our only complaints are the following: the ocean view is obstructed by palm trees, the master mattress and pillows are worn and need replaced, all TVs are small, and the master shower needs updated. Because of the obstructed view, we're not sure if we'd stay there again.

The property was beautifully decorated and updated. We stayed in the smaller bedroom because my husband cannot get in and out of the big tub due to parkinsons, but that is not the owner's problem. We were so happy that it had a walk in shower. The kitchen was very well equiped. We will probably book it again next year.

Given the spaciousness of this rental and how it's well furnished and equipped with everything one needs, our 4-night stay was pleasant and very comfortable vs. staying in a hotel room. With trees surrounding the balcony and the ocean and its sounds right beyond ... aaah! I wish there were screen doors and clean exterior windows to maximize air flow (without bugs) and viewing pleasure. Yet, overall, a lovely place and location. Thank you!

The room was beautiful with the most awesome view. The trees kept a constant breeze on the balcony making it comfortable any time of the day. The grounds are beyond beautiful. We will stay there again for sure!!
