Grand House El Palomar is located in the picturesque village of El Palomar, near the historic town of Albaida. This townhouse on three floors has been restored for the enjoyment and convenience of guests.

CASA RURAL EL PALOMAR is in the center of the village, we are located in the lovely Vale of Albaida, away from the noisy cities yet just 25 minutes from Gandia and blue flag beaches on the coast.
The house offers relaxing and comfortable holiday accommodation, perfect for a weekend or during summer holiday seasons, or just to escape for a short break at Christmas, Easter or anytime.
This is a large traditional village home, restored and reformed with many antiques and interesting items. Guests can enjoy a BBQ or Paella beside the pool on the terrace or gather around the large dining area at the center of the house. The property has spacious dining and living rooms, 9 double bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, the bedrooms are large and the house is perfect for groups from 8-22 people. We can put 4 extra beds in addition to the 18 existing spaces.
The house also has a great swimming pool,very original, with a glass bottom, located over the patio, a unique attraction, children and teenagers love it and it is a wonderful addition the the property. There is also a garden area, barbecue and covered terrace.
The living room has a TV and DVD. Also in this area is the fireplace for winter days.
On the same floor you can enjoy the fire, play football or relax listening to conversation or music. On the other hand you can make a paella or barbecue and you can lay by the pool or take a bath from spring to autumn. The pool is open all year and guests love to sitt below the glass to see the colorful lights reflecting in the water at night.
There are many separate areas, plenty of seating and tables both inside and out.
The house has central heating radiators in common rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, the bedrooms on the upper floor are with air conditioning for those hot summer days,
with over 400 square meters, the house can easily accommodate more than one family or a large group of friends under the same roof.
The Houses are located in the region of the wonderful Vall D’Albaida a natural and historical area nestled in the Valencian Community. This area offers a settled climet with mountains, rivers and lakes. The population in this region is around 85,000 inhabitants, of which 33,000 are located in Ontinyent, the capital of the region. Once one of the most industrialized of the Valencian regions with a significant textile tradition although the presence of farming activities is also siginificant.
With respect to communications, the area is well served with good roads connecting local towns of Aiello of Malferit, Agullent and Albaida up to València and joining the N-340 road to Alcoy and down to Alicante. The local connections of the CV-40 and CV-60 brings us to Montaverner, Alfarrasí, La Pobla del Duc, Castelló de Rugat and then to the neighboring region of La Safor and a wide network of regional roads linking all the Vall D’Albaida. The N-340 runs parallel to the CV-40 passing through the towns of Bellus, Guadasséquies, Alfarrasí, Montaverner, El Palomar, and subsequently Albaida Alcoy. The Valencia-Alcoy railway line has stations and stops in the district being the most western including that of Ontinyent. The regular bus service connects Valéncia-Villena and almost all towns in the region.
Visitor can arrange a balloon rides, go hiking in the mountains or biking, horseback riding, or visit the museums in the area. In the valley we can find some municipalities famous for its history:
The old city that holds a wealth of hidden sites of interest and samples vestiges of the Middle Ages, in the town you find the Church of the Assumption or Tou square of Sant Pere.

GANDIA, where in addition to its wonderful beaches and walks in the surrounding mountains, we visit ancient buildings like the Farmhouse of the Duc, the Library Municipal, or the Ducal Palace of Borgia, among others. The beaches of Gandia are ideal to go with children and friends.
VALENCIA, 90 km away from El Palomar is located Valencia, the capital, which in turn gave its name to the region. We visit its most representative monuments and modern buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences that give it a Mediterranean town charm.
