There’s lots of Emerald Beach resort condos for rent, but before you book one, look at this one. If you know anything about Emerald Beach Resorts you know it’s what they call an upscale resort property here in Panama City Beach. This resort’s got all the style you want.
But we’ll get to that. Let’s talk about the beach. We’re talking a beach that’s over 1000 feet wide. That’s like a fifth of a mile of sugar white sand that’s all yours. Just an unbelievable sight. And you get to see it from the ground and from your private balcony. ‘Cause this unit is beachfront! So you get the best views, the best beach, the best getaway place right here at Emerald Beach.
Imagine sitting on your balcony and watching everything from the beach to the waves to a school of dolphin swimming by. What a sight. But that’s not all. Whether you enjoy laying poolside soaking up the Florida Sun, laying on the sand, or resting in the shade of your balcony, Emerald Beach Resort has something for you and your family.
Here’s the scoop on the condo.
Man is this place big! It isn’t just big, It’s like a place you see in one of those resort magazines. I’d call it kind of Floribbean. A little Florida. A little Caribbean. It’s really colorful and fun and it really makes the most of the room in every room. There’s plenty of space for all your beach stuff, but that’s not why you’ll pick this condo. It’s got great views. Plain and simple.
The LIVING ROOM sofa opens up as a queen sleeper. The entertainment center, which is entertaining just to look at it has a big TV, looks like a 35”, don’t forget the DVD player lets you play movies when you’re beached out. Or, surf the net with the high speed connection. But, I gotta tell you, the views are gonna make all that pretty tough. You’re eyes will wonder to the beach every time. You’ll like the balcony, too. It’s really comfortable. And the views, The views.
The MASTER BEDROOM’s got a huge king size bed with a with a beautiful Caribbean carved headboard. Luxury bedding. And the bed’s really looks comfortable. I almost laid down on it to see how it felt. There’s another pretty big TV. The Master Bath’s something to see. Gotta separate shower and garden tub. And how about this. There’s a breakfast table so that you can sit and look out at the beach and gulf while enjoying your coffee and newspaper (yeah I know, who reads the paper at the beach?).
The 2ND MASTER has a nice size queen. Beautiful headboard. Big room with lots of space for your stuff. Good size bath room of this bedroom.
The BUNK AREA is a kid friendly area for sleeping and a little playing. Perfect for the kiddies.
The KITCHEN’s open and has everything that you need, so no matter whether you’re cooking your specialty or just fixing grilled cheese sandwiches you’ve got everything you need to please the family. There’s a big kitchen bar with bar chairs so you can grab a quick bit before you hit the beach.
The DINING AREA has a table for six so everyone can sit down and enjoy a meal.
The LAUNDRY area’s located to make keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.
These bedrooms, the bunk area and the pull out sleeper sofa in the living room making sleeping room for 8 with 2 complete full baths.
Additional amenities include: washer & dryer....Read more

Carpet in room is dirty. Drains in sink were stopped up, can not bring alcohol to pool because they want you to purchase from tiki hut, very struck rules at pool, developer of property was at security shack bragging of himself and was a ***** to say the least. Sky bar is not open until 4. Overall, will never stay here again.

Our long weekend was great. The condo was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Layout of property was a little confusing at first but once we found everything it was very easy. We would love staying here again

This units kitchen didn't have a lot of things if you was going to make dinner. Just basic. The elevator's are very slow and it is a bit confusing. There is a pool across the street that we didn't know about till a couple days in our stay. That pool is bigger and doesn't seem as busy as the other. It would of been nice if they served drinks at that pool too. Overall, had a good stay there.

Tips for future renters:
Bring your own;
Toilet Paper (they only provide 1 roll per bathroom)
Hand washing soap
Dish washing detergent
Blankets for pull out sofa
Towels if you use more that 1 per person/week
or enough laundry detergent to wash them.
Besides that stuff (now I know so next time I will be prepared) PLACE WAS GREAT!

We chose this location because of the zero entry pool across the street. We have a young child and wanted to give him the ability to walk around without worrying about him walking off steps or off th e edge of the pool. The unit was okay. When I booked I was under the impression there was wifi access in the unit - there was not (my misunderstanding). There were stains in the carpet in the living room and the bedroom.

We had a great time, the lay out was confusing, considering it has two different hotels in one building, the fitness room wasn't open, and some of the pool pics were misleading. The room was beautiful and the beach was great. The employees were very helpful and always happy. Overall I would go back, especially to see it when it is finished!!

Overall very nice condo and resort. Loved the amenities the resort had to offer. The Condo itself was stocked well with linens but no extra blankets. There was enough dishes but could have had a bit more extras, like mixing bowls and pans. It was fine for breakfast and lunch but not enough in my opinion to cook a full dinner, but we ate out at night anyway. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

On the first day the water stank of sulfer to high heavens, but after a complaint to the front desk the issue was resolved. I think the air filter may have needed changing as well because everyone in our room would cough consistently after any lenth of time was spent inside. Otherwise the unit was large, nice, and clean. The elevators are very fast and right by the unit. The unit is the last one on the floor too so there are no loud neighbors. Aside from having my reservation at the Shores of Panama lost the night before our vacation due to "double booking", the trip was successful and nice.
