And I am a kid again. That how Splash Resort Condominiums makes you feel. There’s nothing like this place. If family vacation is what you’re looking for, if keeping the kids occupied is what you’re looking for, if getting wet is what you’re looking for, then SPLASH is what you’re looking for. This awesome resort opened in 2007 and it filled up right away. Why? Because it was perfectfor what Panama City Beach is all about – families. Let’s go down the list of stuff that will bring out the kid in everybody with environments that include:
• There’s a beachfront lazy river
• Lot’s of indoor and outdoor pools
• A Li'l tot splash pad
• There’s an indoor Water park with
o water slides
o water cannons
o disappearing walls
o dive in movie theater
o and many interactive water toys.
Your kids will have to see it to believe it. There is even an arcade with its own mini bowling alley and a game room!
But lemme tell you, this isn’t just for kids. Mom and Dad will love Splash too and not just because the kids are having a blast. There is an adult only swimming pool and Jacuzzi with a bird’s eye view of the kids play area, a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river, a poolside Bar & Grill, High Speed Internet access and onsite Beach apparel and Surf shop.
But let me tell out about the beach. The Splash beachfront is bigger than a football field wide and it’s all sugar white sand beach that graduates to the most beautiful emerald color water that you’ll find anywhere. So just come on down and stretch out in the sun or take a dip in the Gulf. Here you can relax while the kids dive into big fun!
PIER PARK. When you’re done with the sun, there’s lots of other fun located right around this resort. In fact there’s a new shopping experience that’s pretty close that I want to tell you about. Pier Park is really something pretty spectacular. It’s a million plus square food shopping area (like a mall at the beach) It’s got a ton of stuff. There’s a Dillards, Target, Penny’s, Ron Jon (my second home); there’s a 16 screen movieplex. All kinds of restaurants. Panera Bread for a quick bite, Longhorn Steakhouse & Outback. And get this: there’s a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville, you know, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere. And, if you want a Café American Double Shot Vente it’s got a Starbucks. Can you imagine? Starbucks in flip flops. Oh, and during the summer there’s going to be free concerts for the whole family. How cool is that?!?
If you’re coming down for a kid sports tournament, you’re pretty close to the Frank Brown Park, where they host a lot of them.
Here’s the scoop on the condo.
Man is this place big! It isn’t just big, it’s bea-u-ti-ful. It’s got really interesting décor. If you didn’t look out the windows (which is hard to do because theres’ lots of great views of the beach) you’d think you were in an uptown condo. It’s really cool. And, it really makes the most of the room in every room. There’s plenty of space for all your beach stuff, but that’s not why you’ll pick this condo. It’s got great views and it sleeps 10. Plain and simple.
The LIVING ROOM sofa opens up as a queen sleeper. The entertainment center, has a flat screen TV. And the DVD player lets you play movies when you’re beached out. Or, surf the net wireless connection.
The MASTER BEDROOM has a large King bed with access to the balcony!
The SECOND MASTER also has a large King Bed!
The THIRD BEDROOM has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks! It also has balcony access from the room!
That's plenty of room for a party of 10!

The condo we rented was great. The pictures did not do it justice. It was alot bigger than expected(nice suprise). The located was perfect for our family. We got to stay in a nice place and did not have to worry with all the teenagers there for graduation. This will be the place we go back too!!!

Overall the unit was fine but is i need of updates and repairs. All three tubs were very slow draining. It would take several hours to drain after each shower. The cover was coming off the front of the tub in one of the bathrooms. The chairs on the balcanoy were worn and I was afraid they would break if they were set in. The washer/dryer, refrig, stove, and microwave were nice and the unit was spacious. The waterpark would have been nice if the water had not been so cold.

We really really enjoyed Splash and would stay there again. Very family oriented, grounds were clean, lot of activities for kids from crawlers to elementary age kids. 2 miles from Pier Park which was easy to get to. Amenities in unit worked well, washer/dryer, dish washer, oven/stove, etc. All tile floors were clean, but carpets needed to be vacuumed on arrival and vacuums in unit didn't work. One of the bedrooms smelled like vomit so I had to wash comforters on arrival and clean a spot up off the floor. We will definitely stay at Splash again, but I wasn't overly impressed with Best Beach Getaway rental company. They were professional, but not always easy to contact and didn't respond to complaints of vomit smell, needing a vacuum bag, or a broken chair on first day. Unit was very nice though and was very comfortable for a family of 4 plus 2 grandparents.
“far below expectations, splash condo 1101w was very dirty/filthy”

We love the splash and have stayed there numerous times. When we arrived this time the condo was filthy. Carpet was almost black and dust covered almost everything: tv's, plants, etc. Comforter had multiple stains, one looked like blood. Staff at best beach responded after a few calls and had the carpet cleaned (which the cleaner was amazed at the dirt and number of black water buckets it produced) and re-dusted and changed comforter. Which was appreciated but still I never felt clean all week. Very disappointed with quality vs. price. Would recommend splash but from a private owner as I am accustomed to renting from. Learned a lesson about renting from a beach service.

This was our fist family vacation. I have a 9 mo old son and 2 year old son that was on vacation. When I got to the room there was alot of cleaning that had to be done to make the room suitable for an infant crowling around. There was food splattered on the walls, also dried food ground into the carpet. In the masterbedroom it looked like somone puked on the floor between the bed and sliding glass window. Two of the bathrooms had clogged drains in the showers. Between the drano and cleaning supplies we bought we probably spent $50.00 and the first half our day cleaning. Not exactly what we expected out of our vacation. The funny thing was we had to pay a cleaning fee with the room. After we got through those issues we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Overall the location was wonderful and the facility itself had many things for our children to do. Was a great spot for a family vacation. Just wish more attention had been paid to the cleanliness of the room. The size of the condo and ammenities were lovely.

There was dried food stuck in carpet in living room, dining area. Popcorn left in carpet. Had to wash the 2 pots used because they were not clean. Were coated with grease and appeared had not been washed. Curtain were hanging in spots in 2nd master suite. The 130.00 cleaning fee that I was charged was very hard to swallow. The condo was cleaner when I left than when we arrived.

We made the decision to stay at Splash while our daughter was in her national softball tournament because we have a 5 year old son that, from the pics on the website, we thought would really enjoy Splash. We paid $2500 for a 3 bed 3 bath. Upon arrival, my vacation was upset by the general lack of cleanliness of the resort, and made worse when we opened our door for the condo! The carpets were black and the condo smelled like smoke. The white tile floors were so dirty, the corners were completely black, and there were stains on the toilet from not being cleaned. After contacting best beach getaways, they agreed to have the cleaning company come back in while we were gone and the carpets were set to be cleaned on Monday (we arrived on Saturday). When we returned from dinner, the cleaning company had obviously not been there, so I went to the store to buy cleaning supplies (there were none there, no mop, no nothing, also note, there were 2 vaccums, one in pieces piled in the air conditioning closet with the air conditioner with no front panel and no filter, and one in a closet but is wasn't functional), and proceeded to spend the rest of my evening cleaning the floors and bathrooms of the condo. Just a side note, the third bedroom bath had a toilet plunger in a plastic bag with a layer of brown stuff underneath the bag that was stuck to the floor! Yes, I cleaned it, due to that was the bathroom my daughter was going to use. So, technically, the person who stays in this condo will find it quite clean, and will also find a new supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap and cleaning bleach. Your welcome.
Well, just when I thought it would be nice to head out to the beach, I was again met with a surprise. There was hardly any room, as people just leave their things overnight on the beach, mainly because they do not drag the beach for whatever reason, like most beaches. Instead, you have to look so you do not step on beer cans, a
