BEACHFRONT & FAMILY FRIENDLY FOR 8! OPEN 6/13-6/20! CALL NOW!
WELCOME TO SPLASH 1202 EAST
And I am a kid again. That’s how Splash Resort Condominiums makes you feel. There’s nothing like this place. If family vacation is what you’re looking for, if keeping the kids occupied is what you’re looking for, if getting wet is what you’re looking for, then SPLASH is what you’re looking for. This awesome resort opened in 2007 and it filled up right away. Why? Because it was perfect for what Panama City Beach is all about – families. Let’s go down the list of stuff that will bring out the kid in everybody: environments that include:
• There’s a beachfront lazy river
• Lots of indoor and outdoor pools
• A Li'l tot splash pad
• There’s an indoor Water park with
o water slides
o water cannons
o disappearing walls
o dive in movie theater
o and many interactive water toys.
Your kids will have to see it to believe it. There is even an arcade with its own mini bowling alley and a game room!
But let me tell you, this isn’t just for kids. Mom and Dad will love Splash too and not just because the kids are having a blast. There is an adult only swimming pool and Jacuzzi with a bird’s eye view of the kids play area, a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river, a poolside Bar & Grill, High Speed Internet access and onsite Beach apparel and Surf shop.
Let’s talk about the beach. The Splash beachfront is bigger than a football field wide and it’s all sugar white sand beach that graduates to the most beautiful emerald color water that you’ll find anywhere. So just come on down and stretch out in the sun or take a dip in the Gulf. Here you can relax while the kids dive into big fun! There’s other neat little special things for you too. . There’s so much around that you probably won’t want to leave the property, but I gotta tell you about one other thing.
When you’re done with the sun, there’s lots of other fun located right around this resort. In fact there’s a new shopping experience that’s pretty close that I want to tell you about. Pier Park is really something pretty spectacular. It’s a million plus square food shopping area (like a mall at the beach) It’s got a ton of stuff. There’s a Dillards, Target, Penny’s, Ron Jon (my second home); there’s a 16 screen movieplex. All kinds of restaurants. Panera Bread for a quick bite, Longhorn Steakhouse & Outback. And get this: there’s a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville, you know, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere. And, if you want a Café American Double Shot Vente it’s got a Starbucks. Can you imagine? Starbucks in flip flops. Oh, and during the summer there’s going to be free concerts for the whole family. How cool is that?!?
If you’re coming down for a kid sports tournament, you’re pretty close to the Frank Brown Park, where they host a lot of them.
Here’s the scoop on the condo.
The LIVING ROOM sofa opens up as a queen sleeper. Check out the big TV in the picture. The DVD player lets you play movies when you’re beached out. Or, surf the net with the wireless internet connection. But, I gotta tell you, the views are gonna make all that pretty tough. You’re eyes will wonder to the beach every time. You’ll like the balcony, too. It's really comfortable. And the views, The views.
The MASTER BEDROOM got a huge king size bed with access to the balcony!
The GUEST BEDROOM has a double bed and a twin bed!
Guest's at Splash 1202E also get free 2 beach chairs and umbrella during Season! (Memorial Day to Labor Day)
Note: Each Splash guest is required to register at the front desk and pay a $20.00 registration fee for use of the Splash amenities. You will be able to pick up your wristbands and parking passes when you register....Read more

Although the owner of our rental was nice and easy to deal with this will be our last visit to the Splash resort. I did love the carefree check in and the fact we did not have to keep up with a key. There is an Alvin's store directly across the street which was handy for purchasing last minute beach necessities. However, for $2500 I expected alot more out of our resort. Our room still had food/trash left in it from the previous renters, and our dryer did not work even after someone came to work on it. There is a huge drainage system on the property next door that drains blackish/brown water in front of the Splash and into the ocean. We walked to another property so our children did not have to swim in that water, which was not convenient at all. The owners of the property next door were very rude to several of the children who played on the beach in front of their condos which I felt was inappropriate. On three seperate occasions they even called the police. It was a distraction that made our children uncomfortable. The attendants at the pool were very strict, and not friendly. My boys could not even pass one of those small, soft, water footballs in the pool to each other. The elevators are horrid and take forever!! We were on the 12th floor and the elevator ride up and down took forever. There were several arguments that broke out amongst guest waiting on elevators. It was overall a stressful environment to be in. I feel like I need a vacation due to my vacation. I was very disappointed and will look for a beach house with both a private pool and beach next year.

Maintenance issues in property.. no dryer for 7 days and no compensation offered. very expensive compared to other units so expecting all items to work properly. Parts were not available to fix dryer.I had to request more towels be sent to me instead of them offering as a solution. Hopefully next guest will have a better stay. Had to reclean bathrooms had chunks of mold and mildew on handrails in shower and around tub. Unit very dusty. Decorated Beautifully and very cozy but disapointed in cleaning. Sink in master bathroom clogged and light bulbs burnt out.
Kitchen very well stocked and updated appliances and electronics were GREAT !

We were not given the access codes to check into the room. Once we finally got into the unit it was filthy. The tub off the second bedroom was dirty so my sister got on her knee's and cleaned it. There was mildew on the shower curtain had to get one at the Walmart. Only to discover the tub was clogged. So all five of us had to use the one shower. The reservoir for the coffee maker was under the sink cabinet also had mold in it so we could not make coffee. The placemats on the kitchen were filthy with food so we put those under the sink cabinet. The appliances had been cleaned with the incorrect cleaning product, the carpet was dirty. There was food and dirt under the sofa couch so we had to sweep with a broken broom and wipe under it on my hands and knee's because we did not have a mop, but who takes that on vacation. The lampshades in the large bedroom were filthy and cracked and silk plants were covered in dust. When I called the maintenance number Rachel who took my call cut me off as I was going through my list of problems and said "I get it the unit is dirty" but I proceeded to give her the complete list. She asked me if I wanted to be there when they came to clean and that she could not give me a time as to when they would arrive. I told her "I'm not on vacation to wait for the unit to be cleaned" Maintenance came but mom was indisposed at the time and they did not come back to fix the tub. Plus on the site it looks like both bedrooms has access to the balcony "NOT" true. Definitely not worth the $2,454 that we paid. Just be careful which unit you choose. I called the owner of the unit and he said "he was glad I called" but did not offer any resolution to make me feel like a valued or appreciated customer. This unit is booked for the entire month of June into July, at the price I paid talk about making money hand over fist, and not getting what you pay for. Let's face it some will save for a good bit of time to their family on vacation. Even in the economy.
This unit is one of our most popular units and is in constant use from April to October. The next guest staying in this property gave it great reviews as have a majority of past guests. We do not have a Rachel in the office so we’re not sure who the guest called. When resort maintenance came to address the clogged tub issue, they were turned away by the guest. The guest did speak to us regarding the coffeemaker which the prior guest had used with no apparent issues. However, we delivered a new coffeemaker and vacuum cleaner at her request. We would also have replaced the shower liner and re-cleaned the unit had she reported those items to us. The guest called the owner after her departure. We resolved all issues reported during her stay and would have happily addressed any other had she reported them during her stay.
