Welcome to one of Hawaii’s most secluded luxurious ocean front estates! Our family vacation home is situated on a 16 acre heart of palm plantation and is located on the Scenic Route, just minutes from downtown Hilo.
Upon entering the gated estate, you will feel like you have left the stresses of life behind. The property is surrounded by breathtaking ocean vistas and open agricultural lands which create a sense of privacy and seclusion. As you turn off the scenic route, you will drive down a spectacular driveway and see a beautifully hand crafted cliff top plantation style home, which is completely off grid.
Our ocean front estate is 15 minutes from the Hilo international airport and 10 minutes from downtown Hilo. Hilo town is home to the infamous Hilo Farmer’s Market, Imiloa Astronomy Center, University of Hawaii Hilo, Hilo Medical Center (hospital), numerous restaurants, shopping, water falls, botanical gardens, horseback riding tours, zip lines and more. The World famous Volcano National Park and Waimea town are also within an hour drive of the estate.

MAIN HOUSE: MASTER SUITE with EN SUITE BATHROOM
A vanishing 15’ window opens up to a spectacular unobstructed 270’ ocean view. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves crashing on the cliff in a comfortable king sized bed with soft cotton sheets. The expansive room also offers a desk, chair, ceiling fan and TV. The master bedroom is connected to the wrap around veranda where you can enjoy your morning coffee and awaken to the smell of tropical flowers. The spacious bathroom boasts his and her vanities with walk in shower, dual shower heads including a rain shower.
GUEST BEDROOM and BATHROOM
Enjoy a comfortable King sized bed with soft cotton sheets, 2 bedside tables with reading lamps, ceiling fan, and handcrafted mango and eucalyptus wood entertainment table. The guest bathroom is shared by both the 2nd bedroom and the main living area. It has a tub/shower, sink/vanity and toilet.
LIVING SPACE AND KITCHEN
Surrounded by unobstructed views of the ocean, the great room room is truly the heartbeat of the home. Decorated with a contemporary casual beachy feel, the living room is accented with gallery artwork by renowned Hawaii artist and offers a comfortable couch with a large flat screen TV (DISH TV) and plenty of seating. Windows abound throughout with spectacular views of Hilo. There is a large reclaimed wood dining table with 8 chairs, as well as 3 counter stools. The living room also offers a wood burning fire place to create a romantic environment for the occasional chilly night. A sound system is wired throughout the house &lanai.; Making this the perfect home for entertaining or relaxing with your family, the gourmet kitchen with commercial gas stove, large island, and convection oven complete the space.
WRAP AROUND DECK
The home is surrounded by a spacious wrap around deck which offers a comfortable outdoor seating arrangement as well as a solid teak table which can host 8 guests comfortably. Dramatic views of the crashing waves & Humpback whales can be seen from ever seat.
COTTAGE and BATHROOM
A short walk down a beautifully landscaped covered breezeway provides access to a private guest house. The guest house offers a comfortable queen sized bed with soft cotton sheets, ceiling fan, chair, bedside table, reading lamp, pineapple dining table which seats four, and a pull out Italian leather coach that turns into a queen sized bed. The living space opens up through sliding glass doors to a private lanai where you can sit and read or listen to the native birds and enjoy views of the spacious estate and Hamakua coastline. The bathroom offers a full walk in shower with vanity, sink, toilet, and incredible views of Mauna Kea. Kitchenette complete with sink, microwave & toaster oven, basic dishes & flatware provided. No washer/dryer, fine bed linens & towels provided.
The water on property is provided by the County of Hawaii from a nearby aquifer and is filtered through the refrigerator for drinking.
Though the house was not specifically built to be wheelchair accessible, the first floor only has one wide door threshold from the garage. The bathroom door is 30' wide, and the bedroom is on the same level. Please inquire if you need more particulars.

Our home is located in the heart of the scenic Hamakua coast, which is world renowned for its natural beauty and rich history. It has an expansive lawn fronting the ocean, which can be used for Frisbee, crocket, soccer, etc. Golf: Hilo or Volcano are the closest courses. Activities: Swimming, Snorkeling/Diving, Surfing, Medical Services, Groceries, Kayaking, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Wind-Surfing, Fishing, Cycling, Massage Therapist, Restaurants, Live Theater, Eco Tourism, Health/Beauty Spa, Cinemas, Churches, Museums, Library, Shopping, Beachcombing, ATM/Bank, Sea Turtle Viewing, Star Gazing, Wildlife Viewing, Whale Watching, Walking, Sight Seeing, Scenic Drives, Horseback Riding Tours, Zip Lines, Yoga. In front of our home, the ocean is very deep. The bays along the Hamakua coast provide a safe haven for Humpback whales. The birthing and mating months (December - April) are excellent times for hearing humpback whales at night, and of course seeing them by day. This is our family vacation home and we take great pride in maintaining it.
