“Location and attention to details made our stay so very memorabl”
Dear anna and Bryan, Thank you so very much for letting us "share" your Chez Claude! It was such a wonderful apartment in the heart of Paris. Not only is it perfectly situated in Paris but you have also thoughtfully provided so many comfortable features. It truly exceeded our expectations! We felt like we were "home" while we were in Paris. My husband and I looked forward to our nightly glass of wine while sitting at the barstools, watching the boats on the Seine and the people strolling past the booksellers. It was just perfect! Our 2 girls (age 8 & 9) got quite a kick out of seeing Notre Dame out our windows while The Hunchback of Notre Dame played on the TV. The details for the apartment that you emailed us prior to arriving, plus the booklets at the apartment made everything so easy. (The emails and booklets provided neighborhood info, transits, trains, restaurants, food markets, appliances - and how to work them!) Marie is fantastic in her assistance and knowledge of finding places and things in Paris and France while Martine is so very lovely and welcoming! Martine greeted us early (due to change in flight) and showed us the particulars of the apartment. She was even helped us secure a taxi when we were leaving. Marie helped us navigate the Louvre for very specific pieces as well as provided us with lots of information about the Cluny Museum and other points of interest in northern France. Marie and Martine are both so very wonderful, we are very grateful for their help. I am planning on staying at Chez Claude again. Location was beyond expectations and the ease of all the living comforts made this a wonderful and care-free trip. Anna and Bryan have thought of everything you might possibly want or need while in Paris. They were very easy to deal with, very professional and very quick with communications. I cannot wait until I get the chance to stay at Chez Claude and enjoy Paris! Sincerely, Jeannie & Greg C. Memphis, Tennessee USa
“Great location in the heart of Paris!”
Chez Claude provided all the comforts of home directly on the Seine. The exceptional location and view made it the perfect choice for our teenager's first trip to Paris and a great getaway for our family. Everything offered was received as stated. The communication with the owner and point of contact made everything so easy. We can't wait to return!
“Comfort and convenience in the heart of Paris”
Chez Claude played a central role in making our week in Paris an epic experience. First, attention to detail in the form of a manual that explains the workings of everything from the Nespresso coffee maker to the washing machine and every other appliance was extremely helpful. While our friends struggled to figure out the workings of French gadgetry in their apartments, we had not such difficulty thanks to the owner's preparedness and forethought. Chez Claude's central location enabled us to walk to virtually all of the spots we wanted to visit (Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Conciergerie, Louvre, Orsay, Cluny, Tuillerie Gardens, Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, and more). It was so nice to be able to sip cappuccinos in the apartment window and see the east façade of the Louvre, St Chapelle just across the Seine, and of course Notre Dame just to the east, and to watch the city come alive as the morning progressed - it was surprisingly serene in the early hours of the morning. Visits farther afield were a piece of cake with the St Michel RER and metro stations a stone's throw away. Visiting the apartments of other friends made us really appreciate how spacious, comfortable, and well appointed Chez Claude is. Some Parisian apartments are tres petite! We absolutely loved Paris and had a trip of a lifetime there, and Chez Claude was a cornerstone of our experience. When we return to Paris, we will not hesitate to book Chez Claude again to enjoy its warmth and comforts - it feels like you are staying at a friend's well cared for, upscale home. In the lead-up to our departure, the owner's (Anna) professionalism, clear and consistent communication, courtesy, and thoughtfulness were wonderful, and making her Parisian associate available to answer inquiries and book reservations was a nice touch: we took her recommendation for dining at Z Kitchen Gallerie and had a wonderful experience and meal there. Very best wishes, Sarah and Sean O'Connor California, USa
When planning our trip to Paris, I knew I wanted a "home away from home" for my young family to create memories inside after fun winter days on the Paris streets. I did exhaustive search of what seemed to be every property in Paris. The reviews of anna's wonderful apartment were sincere tales of the apartment being the memory, rather than just a nice place to sleep. Our trip was no different. Without Chez Claude and anna's team, our trip would probably have been the classically wonderful trip to Paris. But, rather, our experience was extraordinary. The hospitality anna rolled out months leading up to our trip, was unlike any personal service I have received when renting vacation properties. Her priority was to ensure our confidence in our trip-planning decisions so we could concentrate on enthusiasm for what was to be a trip of a lifetime. In addition to a personalized guidebook for guests of Chez Claude, Anna and her assistant created a gorgeous, new 80-page color guidebook so we could easily navigate our family through the Christmas season of Paris without missing a single highlight or hidden treasure. I was moved me to tears when I opening the package. I am thrilled for all families who will also benefit from their thoughtfulness. Chez Claude is the memory of Paris. I feel like an insider welcomed and entertained by dear friends, the Pococks. You too should treat yourself to this gem on the Seine.

“A Tranquil Oasis”
Chez Claude has it all--spectacular view, comfort, convenience and easy access to the best Paris has to offer. From the time Martine met us with a smile at the door until we bid her adieu as we left, our experience was perfection! The apartment has all the comforts of home. Communication was great: Anna provided extensive information about the amenities of the apartment in addition to a guide to local restaurants, both of which were very helpful. We made good use of the Wifi and Bose docking station in addition to the wonderful Nespresso machine. It was a real pleasure to come "home" after a long day of roaming Paris and be able to truly relax. We highly recommend Chez Claude to anyone who wants to experience life as a Parisien, however briefly. Thanks to Martine and a special thanks to anna and Bryan for the lovely birthday bouquet! We are already talking about a return trip!

“Centrally Located and Well appointed!”
Communication is outstanding. We were provided with a detailed restaurant and activity recommendation packet via email prior to our stay. That same packet is printed and bound inside the apartment in Paris. Someone was waiting there to let us inside upon our arrival. The apartment itself is outstanding. Aside from the view, which is amazing, it has so many convenient touches. It has appliances along with instructions and supplies. They have umbrellas there, so you don't need to pack your own. A rolling, covered cart so you can go down to the local Franprix or Monoprix and get a few things for the fridge. An HP printer and a laptop (but we used our own laptops) so you can print your boarding passes and entry tickets. The apartment has many books on France and Paris, but who has time to read? You are right in the middle of St. Michel, steps away from Musee de Orsay, Notre Dame, the Seine to board a river cruise, or just jump on public transit to go anywhere you want. The owners have truly thought of everything. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone. It is a beautiful apartment and it looks just like the photos.

“Chez Claude - in the heart of Paris!”
We absolutely loved Chez Claude! The apartment is very centrally located with stunning views of over the Seine, and Notre Dame to the right. Anna was so organised and gave us all the information that we needed to enjoy our stay at Chez Claude. We appreciated the limousine pick up organised by anna which was amazingly stress-free - very important when you have young children and lots of luggage - and were warmly greeted at the apartment by Martine. We enjoyed relaxing in the apartment. The kids finally had their own bed each, and particularly enjoyed the sleigh bed. They loved climbing the ladder to explore the many books, Dvds and board games on the bookshelf - we learnt a lot from the French/English dictionary! The wonderful amenities such as the cooking and laundry facilities made our stay feel like home. We enjoyed the Nespresso - perfect cuppa with that croissant or pastry! The free internet access allowed us to make toll calls back home to New Zealand. We were located just a 2-minute walk away from the RTR and Metro, so it was very easy to get around. We would highly recommend a stay at Chez Claude when in Paris - a gorgeous apartment to stay in, in such a superb location! Dreaming about out next visit already!
“Cosy home-like apartment in an excellent location”
My newlywed husband and I stayed at Chez Claude for two weeks at the start of our honeymoon. We were met by Martine who gave us a lovely bouquet of flowers to congratulate us on our wedding - a lovely surprise! The apartment was cosy and like a home with a wonderful view across the Seine towards the Palais de Justice and Notre Dame. There were long-life foodstuffs for us to use, and we enjoyed the Nespresso and cooking our own meals. We also enjoyed watching the cable TV and Dvds from the DVD library, as well as referring to the many France and Paris guides available from the library. And the free internet and included calls to australia were great for staying in touch with family and friends. The apartment was in an excellent location - in the Saint German de Pres district with the RER and metro a 2-minute walk away - very handy for catching a connecting TGV or going to Disneyland! Anna and Martine were available for any help if required, which we really appreciated. We would stay here again and would recommend Chez Claude to others.
