From a guest (Feb 2013): This extremely comfortable studio occupies one of the most glorious locations in Paris. Entering the street from the secure confines of a lovely residential building, one is met with the remarkable buttresses of Notre Dame. The view stops you in your tracks every time. To get to the view, however, you must book the studio apartment (4* for ease of booking) from its owner/manager Eric. Eric is a Parisian who speaks fluent English (and German) and kindly, promptly, answers all of your questions. A thoughtful man, he sends Alexandra (fluent English, French, Portuguese) in to keep the studio immaculately clean. So before the buttresses, there are good storage areas, a sizable bathroom with LOTS of hot water and superior water pressure, comfortable seating, an excellent mattress, a very well-equipped galley kitchen, and a small deck which overlooks your very own secluded courtyard. Now you are ready for the buttresses; Notre Dame is a 5-min walk. The Ile St-Louis is also a 5-min stroll, just over the Pont de la Tournelle. On the more practical side, a Franprix on Rue de Poissy (5 min) nets you basic groceries; the Ile St-Louis offers a Nicolas wine shop, an excellent fromagerie, an irresistible boulangerie/patisserie, a charming little grocery - and the best ice cream in the city at Berthillon. Not in the mood to cook? The always fun La Rotisserie du Beaujolais is next door; tiny and very local Les Ronchons is a 90 sec walk; traditional Chez Rene is 5 min away; my favorite, Mon Vieil Ami, is just over the bridge on Ile St-Louis. Honestly: this Romantic little studio is supremely comfortable and offers one the opportunity to live as a local while also placing the enthusiastic explorer in prime territory. I have visited Paris for three decades; staying in Eric's studio is the most fun I have ever had! Highly recommended for 1, 2, or 3 people (if the third is a child). I will return with my husband and granddaughter, although I must admit that being alone in this studio, in this section of Paris, under Eric's watchful but unobtrusive presence, sits at the top of a bucket list I did not even know I had.TripAdvisor property ID 3965871...Read more
“A delightful apartment in the best location and a very easy way”

FlipKey and the owner Eric were very easy to deal with and made everything seamless and pleasant. It was clear every step what was expected. When to pay the deposit and the second payment. How to pay was clear and the system worked smoothly. We also knew how much to bring for a security deposit and what currency to use. Eric was gracious and informative when we met him and by email.
Australians hear all sorts of horror stories about the size of European rooms and we were delighted at how spacious the apartment was, including the well appointed and set out bathroom. The pictures on the website were accurate and the furniture, fittings and general amenities exceeded our expectations in comfort and standard. It is a home, not a rented apartment. There was plenty of room for luggage which all travellers have.
The location is understated. It is so close to Notre Dame, the trains and the tourist buses. It makes you feel like you are right in the middle of Paris. Yet being at the back of the building with a garden it is quiet and peaceful. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops within an easy distance. The taxi rank is right outside the door.
I loved the location. I loved that it did not feel like a hotel. I loved that it felt French. It was the perfect experience we wanted. It felt like value for money and I would recommend to anyone and would certainly stay here again.

Really incredible. Everything is correct. A very large room. A good kitchen. The garden gives the ilusion to be at the seaside in a tropical village.
Close to the Metro Jussieu. Just some blocs from the center of the Cartier Latin. Across from the Sene. Just cross the bridge La Tournelle to be at the Saint Louis en Ille.
The owner, Mr. Coursin is extremely correct and a really gentleman.

In fact I have been to this address for already three times in the last year, and I cannot imagine being in any other place but there in Paris.
The studio has an amazing garden that changes constantly durig all seasons and welcomes you every morning. The location is wonderful, right in front of Ile de Saint Louis, with a fantastic view of Notre Dame and the neighbourhood is the most friendly possible starting from the owners who live at the same building.
The accomodations are nice, confortable, modern and clean and although I was alone, there is enough room for a couple with a child.
