Completely renovated in 2012/13. Spacious, very comfortable, quiet, impeccably clean and maintained to the highest standards. Many of the main historic and cultural sites and monuments are steps away. Restaurants and shopping nearby too.
Our magnificent apartment is ideally located in a quiet and exceptionally safe area of the 7th district called Gros-Caillou, a very sought after village at the centre of Paris between the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides, and a few steps away from the Seine and the Champs-Elysées.
It has been recently renovated, decorated and equipped in 2012/13 in a beautiful Parisian style, classic and contemporary, with a great attention on comfort and details.
It is 60 sq.m (646 sq.feet), is located on the 3rd floor (fourth floor American) with lift of a beautiful stone building from the 19th century, of 4 floors, and offers a view of the Eiffel Tower.
The living room is very bright all day; it has a view of a very beautiful small, traditional street in the 7th district from Paris. It ends on one side by the docks of the Seine, and on the other side by the many shops, bars and restaurants of the famous rue Saint-Dominique and rue Cler. It is equipped with a queen size sofa-bed.
The romantic bedroom with relaxing colour tones has an exceptional view of the very calm courtyard of two majestic Parisian private mansions. It is equipped with a top quality queen size bed with excellent mattress and headboard.
Windows are new with the best quality sound insulation available.
The bathroom has a glassed-in shower and bathtub, two sinks, a towel warmer, hairdryer and plenty of space for your things.
The apartment has a beautifully equipped kitchen with electric cook-top and conventional oven, microwave, dishwasher. There is plenty of cupboard space.
It is furnished with crockery, glassware, cutlery, pans, and utensils.
The location of our apartment is the best in Paris:
You will be able to walk to many major monuments located only 5 -10 min away such as the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, the Rodin Museum, the Pont Alexandre III, the Museum of Modern Art, the Orsay Museum, Quai Branly Museum, Champs-Elysées, etc.
You will also enjoy an extended tour of the fabulous boutiques and fashion houses in the neighborhood, bistros, chic cafés, fashionable shops, open-air markets...
The apartment is also very near the Seine: you can go by foot to the Louvre by making a magnificent stroll along the river, by using the pedestrianized docks. Or take an unforgettable boat trip on the Seine in the evening.
Finally, The 7th district is an epicureans' dream where you can discover the loveliest food to purchase and eat within your lovely apartment. . Upon arrival, the manager will supply a list of exceptional local resources : bakers, caterers, butchers cheese makers, pastry chefs, restaurants...all located a few steps away.

We wanted to experience Paris by city living, not hotel living and, as we discovered, it doesn't get any better than the 7th arrondissement.
The location of the apartment was perfect. Walking or biking distance to Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Invalides, the Louvre, you name it. River cruises were a 10min walk.
The apartment was just superb. Recently decorated and beautifully appointed, it was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous and so was the kitchen though we ate all meals out so didn't get to use it. The only thing missing was a dryer, air conditioning (apparently this isn't the French way!) and extraction fan in the toilet but you can comfortably survive without any of these mod-cons. We arrived in summer (mid-June) and while the weather was temperamental and very warm and sticky at times, sleeping was easy. We loved the freedom to come and go in our own little apartment with an awesome array of resturants (you must visit the Cocettes - Les and Cafe) within a 10 minute walk.
Before we left australia, we became aware of worldwide scams that require renters to make cash payments to bogus accounts in advance and were naturally wary as you would expect. In fact, our dealings with the host, Xavier, were very safe and easy and he was most accomodating and an excellent ambassador for Paris. Things couldn't have gone more smoothly.
We will return to Paris and stay at the apartment again and recommend it to all our australian and international family and friends who are planning a Paris getaway.
No need to book a hotel in Paris ever again, just stay here. Thanks Xavier!

Our family enjoyed our memorable stay during the last week in June, 2012. The favorable experience began well before we arrived in Paris. Setting up the rental was easy. Champaubert quickly answered all of our questions and sent over a rental agreement that was simple and clear. He also sent over an informative Welcome Guide he had prepared. It was filled with tips, recommendation, useful addresses and Faqs to quickly immerse us into the world of living like a local.
When we finally arrived, Champaubert was a wonderful host, greeting us at the apartment entrance and providing an excellent orientation of the apartment & neighbourhood. This spacious apartment was completely renovated making it clean, beautiful and welcoming. Internet connection was free. Storage and closet space was excellent, so we were able to unpack and settle in. The kitchen was well stocked with items to permit cooking when we chose to stay in. The bathroom had double sinks and a washer.
The very safe and upscale neighbourhood is filled with stores for fashion and epicurean fans along rue Saint-Dominique including an open market on rue Cler. Our kids really enjoyed picking up French breakfast items at the local grocery store. Each morning began with croissants, fresh fruits and cheeses as we planned our adventure for the day. At night, we were dazzled by the view of the Eiffel Tower's twinkling lights from the apartment. You get an even better view of the illumination show if you step outside to rue Saint-Dominique. With easy walking distance were the Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides, Pont alexandre and the Rodin Museum. The apartment is also a short walk to the Invalides Metro station which makes it very easy to get to other major attractions throughout Paris.
I highly recommend this apartment. I have stayed at the Georges V and the Hotel de Crillon before but I now prefer this apartment because you can enjoy a much more immersive local experience in the best neighbourhood in Paris.

It is rare in Paris to find a place that is clean, quiet, modern, spacious, has a view and, nice landlords. This place is all that! I could leave my San Francisco place with a view of the bay and move in tomorrow.
We were 3 women who stayed in July and it was the perfect place! We had plenty of space for us each to have an area for our suitcase and stuff. There were 2 sinks in the bathroom, making getting ready in the mornings faster. Even with the fold out bed open in the living room, there was plenty of space to eat and work at the table and plan our day. The bedroom down the hall, allowed a quiet retreat from living room/kitchen activity. And of course, the morning and nighttime view of the Effiel Tower, reminded us we were in Paris-a city of romance, charm and wonder.
Like visiting a friend, there was a book with fabulous recommendations for restaurants, shopping and sites in the neighborhood. High end or casual, we were able to come home put our feet up and then head in the neighborhood for dinner. One of the great benefits of city living. The 7th is my new favorite neighborhood!

My wife and I stayed here in late april and it was a terrific choice. The owner/manager lives close by and he was very helpful and interested in our enjoying ourselves there. There are a number of excellent restaurants across the street and around the corner. There are also a number of boulangeries close by for your morning croissant or pain au chocolat. The Invalides metro stop is about 10 minutes away and it is very easy to take the RER from De Gaulle to Invalides when you land in Paris.
The apartment itself is very comfortable with a very efficient kitchen, a roomy living room/dining room, a bedroom with plenty of storage and a very modern bathroom.
There is a washer, but no dryer - which is about the only negative I can think of.

This apartment was gorgeous, and a wonderful experience for myself and my family. The apartment is very beautiful, and the location could not have been better. We were within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and all of the other attractions, and had easy access to busses, river tour boats, and the Metro for destinations farther away.
We are very active travelers and took in full days of activities each day, some very close, and others quite a distance away. It was such a pleasure to come "home" to our apartment after each very full day of sightseeing, shopping and activities. The location is great, with so many amazing local shops for groceries and culinary delights, as well as an abundance of incredible restaurants and shops within a single block or two, which made for easy outings for meals, groceries, shopping or sightseeing. The apartment is totally renovated with great appliances and amenities. I would highly recommend this option over a hotel stay, and this apartment is one of the finest that we could have secured, especially at the price.
Champaubert was such a wonderful host, making himself available for any questions, guidance or help that we needed, but not intruding unless we needed him. He takes exceptional care of this unit, and will ensure that your stay is luxurious and comfortable. We loved this place and will certainly return and reccommend it to others as well.
Thank you so much for making our holiday in Paris such a wonderful experience.
