Additional Location Information

The apartment is located in the Latin Quarter, one of Paris' oldest districts, dating back to ancient Roman times. Remnants of that era can still be found in the Arenes de Lutece, a former amphitheater, and the Thermes de Cluny, an ancient bathhouse. More modern historic buildings in the 5th Arrondissement include the Pantheon, a famous Church and burial site of many famous French greats including Voltaire, Rousseau, and Marie Curie, and the Sorbonne, the renowned French University.
Within close walking distance of our apartment are the 1st and 4th Arrondissements, which feature the Louvre and Notre Dame, respectively. A slightly longer, but completely doable walk, can take one to the Hotel de Invalides, St. Sulpice Church, and the Eiffel Tower.
The modern Latin Quarter is a busy place, especially at night, but the studio faces inwards so the apartment is quiet.
The apartment is close to two metro stations, St. Michel, and Cluny-Sorbonne. St. Michel is also a RER station with direct access to Charles de Gaulle airport. The RER also provides easy access to the Eiffel Tower and the Versaille Chateau.
