Lepic Retreat Montmartre 2 Bedroom Paris Apartment
Tucked away in this 1892 edifice, with its classic facade, situated in the middle of one of the world's most famous Parisian streets, rue Lepic, is a charming 2 bedroom apartment that is sure to please.
Lepic Retreat was renovated specifically to meet the needs and demands of the most discerning traveler. We have truly tried to think of everything and more to make your stay here with us one that we hope you will not soon forget.
The style of this apartment is classic, à la Française, but with personal modern touches. The mix of colors chosen for the furnishing and the walls, come together to create a relaxing & elegant space. The light fixtures were hand picked from a very fashionable boutique. The decorative touches such as the mirrors and artwork were also selected from a local vendor on rue Constance and their addition evokes a sense of refinement and class.
The main entrance divides the apartment like most typical Parisian flats. The rooms facing the street (like all the rooms in the apartment), have large double glazed windows. You can decide to isolate yourself from the hustle bustle of rue Lepic or throw open the windows to let in the jovial atmosphere that locals and visitors have come to know and love.
To your right as you enter the apartment is the living room whose entrance door has been decorated with a motif of the Paris metro (in case you have forgotten where you are), is the heart of the apartment. This is where you will relax after a long days sightseeing, perhaps catching up on international news in English, Spanish, German or French among otherlanguages or making use of the laptop computer to surf the internet and plan out the next days visits.
The coffee table doubles as our dining table and is a truly ingenious space saving system that can be raised or lowered with the flip of a lever and opens out to seat up to 6 people.
Throughout the apartment you will notice the original moldings on the ceiling and walls recalling the grandeur of Parisian architecture.
A DVD player has also been provided along with a selection of DVD movies in English or subtitled. We have even put in a PS3 system and a few games for the young or the young at heart. No worries about staying in touch with family and friends - you can make use of the apartment's telephone to make free long distance calls to over 50 countries including the US and Canada as well as to landline phones within the EU.
Also facing the street is the twin bedroom where the beds can either remain as twins or can be put together as a king size bed upon request. The room is another tastefully decorated and restful space with a beautiful original fireplace.
The master bedroom faces the building's inner courtyard and is a quiet retreat. The large very comfortable queen-size bed will be a great welcome after a long day of taking in French culture. A large screen TV has also been installed here for the insomniacs amongst you. You may never want to get out of bed in the morning!
The kitchen is small yet incredibly well equipped with, dishwasher, 4-burner ceramic glass stove top, small washing machine and a combination microwave/oven. This kind of efficient use of limited space is something that Europeans in general and the French in particular, are famous for. You will be able to whip up delicious meals for your family and friends or just unwrap all the fantastic food that you have picked up from the local market and caterers.
The bathroom has a relaxing walk-in shower enclosure, with rail shower as well as a handheld. The heated towel rack not only keeps your towels warm but heats up the bathroom on a cold Winter's morning. The WC is separate from the bathroom making the morning routines more efficient.
You will truly enjoy your stay at Lepic Retreat and what better way to get a taste for Paris than to live as a Parisian in your home away from home.
Additional amenities include: iron and board, telephone with free international calls to most landlines and north american cells, cable TV with english channels + DVD player with DVDs, stereo with ipod dock, 1x queen size bed, 2 single twin beds, shower, english books and magazines, cutlery, cookware and dishes, twins turn into king size bed, hairdryer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, linen and towels, stove & combination microwave/oven.TripAdvisor property ID 2022549...Read more

Service by agents was excellent with wonderful tips to instantly enjoy the Montmartre experience. Terrific cafes, restaurants, shopping and bars, particularly along Rue des abbesses. Very close to the Metro and both grocery and patisseries.
Apartment block is quiet, but close to all the action.
We will be back again and will not hesitate in recommending Lepic Retreat to friends.

Two bedroom one bath in Montmarte area of Paris. Convenient to two metro stops-Blanche or abbesses, cafes, markets right outside the door or up the hill. Loved dishwasher and wash machine and access to Wifi. Shared with another couple, but must be willing to share the small bathroom. It is on busy street but street noise did not seem to be an issue. We loved the area as it did have many good restaurants, Au Pied du Sacre Coeur, Le Petit Parisien, Le Potager and Jeff deBruges chocolatier. Paris rental connections did nice job of checking us in and answering any questions.
“Apartment is not as nice as it looks in the photos.”

Booking and everything was fine, very easy.
I was in contact with the Paris agent all day messaging what time we would arrive, I said 4pm from the very start, even messaging when 15 minutes away saying we will be there in 15 minutes. We arrived 2 minutes early, But he waited till we actually arrived before he even set out to meet us, when you book it says they will be waiting in apartment for you. Then he was 15 minutes late, was very flustered, kept forgetting things while talking to us & smelled strongly of alcohol.
The apartment was very disappointing after seeing the beautiful pictures on the website. Paint chipping off everywhere, couch & cushions are filthy, (and actually smell as well) rugs on floor are filthy, kitchen & bathroom are so tiny, the floor and doors all creak non stop so sharing with others is very noisy & the walls are paper thin, so can hear all apartments around as well.
One door had no handle on one side, and some of the lights did not work well.
I would say book a nice hotel with a buffet breakfast included, much better value for money than this apartment.
Paris is beautiful, but this apartment really got us all disappointed at the start of our holiday & it was the only disappointing thing in Paris. Not a nice way to start your holiday in Paris.
Hi Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to review the apartment. I wanted to respond to a couple of points. Driving in - when people drive in we can never be sure of the arrival time - we have in the past had people as much as 6 hours later than they had scheduled so we now wait until the guests are close before meeting them and even then it can take up to an hour to navigate Paris. Our Paris agent lives just near the apartment so that is why he waited a bit before setting out. I have spoken to him about what you said and given a warning. About the apartment we have taken the points on board and will be instigating improvements. Paris is very small and you have to understand that there are apartments behind walls and french people live with this all year. It is not something that is un-usual or can be changed.
As for the lights - they were checked just before you arrived but possibly you had trouble with the dimmer switch of the living room which can be a bit tricky. In any case I apologise if you were disappointed.

We had a week in Paris. Lepic Retreat provided everything we needed.A lovely apartment which was tastefully decorated very comfortable and very well equipped. Mats was there to meet us and ensured we were settled in.We were glad to come into a lovely warm apartment (It was a very cold april morning when we arrived). Ample room for four but no more.Everything we needed was on our doorstep: metro, boulangeries, pâtisseries, boucheries, poissonneries. We could go on and on. They were all very friendly and accommodating for our poor French. Love to come back and enjoy the Parisian ambiance soon.

I've never booked a holiday apartment so I was a little bit apprehensive about booking this one. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I spent 3 nights there with my 11 year old daughter. The apartment was very cosy and felt like home. The location is superb - easy to explore Paris from there. Sacre Coeur is only a walk away and Moulin Rouge is just down the street. The beds were super comfy and I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends. Oh, the lady who greeted us on our arrival (can't remember her name - sorry!) was really helpful. Thanks a bunch!
