Forget a five-star hotel, weekend in the city of Light can be just as romantic in your own apartment!
If your dream of an Amélie Paris just for two or even for four, then this is the place! This is an apartment with a kitchenett and a winter garden in a corner, a big bed in a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Separate showerroom and separate WC.
The apartment Sleeps up to 4 people (1 Double bed + 1 sofa bed). It is situated in the first floor (by the stairs, no lift) meaning that you have to go up 1 flight of stairs (15 steps) from Main Floor.
Very well connected to the public transportation network. Subway: Blanche (L2), Abbesses/ Pigalle (L12), Place Clichy (L13); Buses 30, 54, 67, 68, 80, 95.
Secured building with digicode
Equippement: TV, DVD, WiFi, Microwave, full equipped
- A convertible couch in the living room: 140cm x 200cm.
The apartment is situated few steps from Sacré Coeur in front of the former artist's entrance of Le Moulin Rouge and across the Café des deux Moulins (Amélie's Café) in a very charming and lively street, the Rue Lepic.
Here is a F.A.Q About the apartment, ;)
1. What is the rental process?
Just select your dates, number of people, and go through with the booking,
2. What would the total be for renting your place between certain dates?
It depends on what you select when you go through the booking (the price should be indicated once you have selected dates and number of people etc on the booking page for the apartment). (cf. #1).
3. Would there be a deposit? If so how much would it be?
Yes there is. I have never had a problem before, and all of my guests have collected their deposit back. The Deposit is 200€.
4. Would it accommodate two people?
Definitely. Two people would be most comfortable in the apartment :).
Four people can stay very comfortably as well in a sofa bed in the living room.
5. Do you have Internet access?
Yes. There is WiFi Access.
6. Is this a secure building?
It is a very safe building and a very safe neighbohood. Yet you have to be aware as in every big cities where pick pockets abound. The street door requires a code to get in. and the building door does too.
7. What time do we have to check in and check out?
Normally, the checkin is at 14h (or later, you can come as late as you want) and chekout is at 10h (or earlier). I am very accomodating with my guests to keep their lugage and allow them checking in earlier or checking out latter if I can. I am very flexible and always looking to accomodate my guests to the best of my ability. The main restriction to my flexibility is if guests before/after you have arrive at the required hour... then you have to leave at "your" normal check-out hour so that the housekeeper can do their job and make the place perfect again for my next guest.
8. Is there grocery shopping/ cafés near your place?
There is everything you can dream of nearby.
Departments Stors like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps (french equivalent of Bloomingdale's, Macy's or Harrod's), are just down the street (15 minutes walk or 7mn by bus). The Rue Lepic has always been a very commercial street, so you will find numerous bakeries, cheese stores, Olive Oil strore, butcher's boutiques, etc.
There are heaps of Cafés and restaurants nearby, including my personal favorite for morning coffees and afternoon teas: "Le Café des Deux Moulins", where Amélie de Montmartre was shot, just down the street from the apartment.
9. Is parking available?
No. However a parking lot is at less at 5mn walk from the flat. Lots of parking both in our street, as well as in the surrounding streets are available, but public parking in the street is quite busy. Try out a google search for "Parking Place Clichy"
10. Do you have a washing machine?
No Washing machine, however you have a laundrette just around the corner.
11. Is bed linen and towels provided?
Yes. Beds are ready and freshly prepared for your arrival and towels are provided for each guest....Read more

Additional Location Information
In Montmartre, discover the unique feel of a small village within the city, a relaxed atmosphere, overflows with cafés, restaurants, and several open markets .While the tourists mill about in the over priced faux artists' quarter around the Basilica, real neighbourhood life goes right her in the Rue Lepic and the Rue des Abbesses, where the simple pleasures of shopping for cheese and a bottle of wine can take a whole day. Montmartre has all you need -food shops of every stripe, pavement cafés, bars, clubs, Picasso's first Studio, a cemetery bearing the bones of Truffaut and Zola, and enough restaurants to eat out somewhere different every night for a month. But a a fully stocked kitchen in La Chambre d'Amélie means you can cok yourselves and sit with a nice bottle of wine...

Our booking communication with Federico was brief because he gives you all the info details you need right away. The apartment was smaller than the pictures here because he added a big sofa bed that can fit 3 people, and a nice dining table and chairs. Everything we need is in this apartment. The only thing that's missing is washing machine, but other than that, the place is perfect. It is quiet even thought there's lots of restaurants around, grocery shop is just around the corner too and transportation, (bus, metro) is just a few steps from the apartment and most of all, you can just walk to 2 of the famous spots in Paris, The Moulin Rouge and the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre. Thank you Federico for the hospitality and your instructions to make our travel easy and our stay in apartment so comfortable.
