Description from the manager
Planning mom and dads' anniversary fell right into place once I found the perfect apartment for them to stay at in the 8th Arrondissement. After all, Paris is their favorite city and they adore the Jacquemart-Andre Museum on Boulevard Haussmann.
If I had a dollar for every countless hour they have spent there with their eyes in wonderment from viewing the Italian Renaissance masters, the 18th Century French masterpieces and works from the Flemish and Dutch schools!
It just made sense to have diner in that exquisite dining room at the museum. They will love this! Their special night will be held in a magnificent room filled ...Read more

Additional Location Information
Paris – 8th District
When most people think of Paris they usually have a fixed image of the Champs-Elysees and l'Arc de Triomphe in their heads. Well, the 8th Arrondissement is home to both! At the end of the Champs-Elysees is Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris. It boasts fantastic vistas in every direction. Sadly, Place de la Concorde was also the end of the road for Marie Antoinette! Today, among other noted residents the French President lives in the 8th in the Elysee Palace.
The 8th is also home to some of the most renowned shops in the entire world. Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton just to name a few. Both retail shops and couture houses are sprinkled throughout the area. If you are lucky enough to be in Paris during Fashion Week you will more than likely see models, actors and actresses running from show to show and major events.
When it comes to sightseeing, the 8th is filled with historical and must-see sites.
La Madeleine, one of the most beautiful churches in all of Paris is a classical temple in the Corinthian style located on Place de la Madeleine. Le Grand Palais, Musee du Petit Palais and Musee Jacquemart-Andre are all treasured must-sees.
The area is host to a plethora of restaurants with savory international menus. And, for the uber hip the Buddha Bar is a great spot for a drink and the latest electronic music.
Parc Monceau on Boulevard de Courcelles is a beautiful place to wind down in, take your daily jog or spend a leisurely afternoon. The lush landscape is actually in the more laid back English style and that makes it a perfect place to stroll through at your own pace and just soak in the atmosphere. The park has play areas for kids and a free Wi-Fi zone, too!
The park is listed as semi-private and only six private residences located on the periphery of the park have 24-hour access.
