Very convenient to easy access transport, you have the multiple metro stations at Republique which offers lines 3, 5, 8, 9, and 11. These take you to just about all major sights in Paris, within only a few stops/minutes travelling. For example, line 8 goes to the Opera, Invalides/Ecole Militaire and Eiffel Tower areas, and line 11 straight to Chatelet and Marais Areas. In fact you can easily stroll to all the Marais area, and then cross the river into the St. Michel district. For those wishing to avoid the touristy scene, this is a great area from which to do so! Lots of local populated cafes, restaurants and even boutiques to choose from. The Republique area which is only a 3-4 minute walk is full of activity and places to shop, buy food and leisurely people watch from the sidewalk outdoor cafes…
Bedrooms: This Paris vacation duplex flat provides 3 bedrooms for up to six adults. It has a ‘piece de resistance feature bed’ - A large round 6˝ foot (2+ meters) diameter bed in the upper loft area which is a semi private with no door. This area is accessed by a large winding, easy to climb staircase with guard rails for the higher section - see photos. This is the equivalent of a large double size bed. Several sky lights with blackout shutters at night for sleeping, really open up the space. There is a second bedroom with a double bed that sleeps two people. Additionally, there is a small ‘niche’ type third bedroom, which is enclosed by a ‘glass-brick’ wall, has a window, although do note the door is only a heavy fabric curtain; not a wooden door (please see the picture). This small but comfortable room has a single twin size bed for one adult or child. It is located off the living room. Additionally, one person can use the living room sofa, see grey sofa in pictures, but note this is not a fold-out bed, only a large sofa for which you will be supplied with extra bedding.
Kitchen & Dining: A large dining room table can easily accommodate 5-6 people and is placed right next to the large sliding glass door windows that accesses the terrace. Everyone can share the day’s stories and plan for the next day’s activities at the table. The kitchen is of ample size and has all you need including an oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and refrigerator/freezer. Plenty of dishes and cutlery for all.
Bathroom: The bathroom is a pleasure to use for showering, with an extra large ‘open-style’ shower and rain forest style overhead water. The WC is conveniently separated into another room, where there is also a clothes washer for your use and a drying rack but not a dryer.
Office Space: There is even a small separate studio-office space where guests can work with their laptop if they wish… but remember this is a vacation!
Please note the loft area and the lower part of the stairs up to that area have no guard rail or banister and young children should not be allowed to use the stairs nor should they be allowed to be on the loft.
This apartment requires a "Meet and Greet" - guests will be met at the apartment and given keys at that time.
Additional amenities include: very quiet apartment with double glazed windows, iron/board, 1 adult on a twin size bed in a small bedroom, having a heavy fabric curtain door, four burner stove with oven, and a toaster!, extra cleaning service available for additional fee (the apartment is clean on arrival), private outdoor terrace with table & chairs, loft level location, large shower, large dining table for 6 people, free high speed internet access, wi-fi or ethernet, entertainment unit with DVD/cd/fm-am, separate wc room, 1 adult can use the living room sofa as a bed; this is not a foldout, 2 adults in the 2nd bedroom on a double size bed, free calls to north america, washer/dryer, large TV with cable (with some english language channels), property keys are given upon arrival at the apartment by the local manager, comprehensive local guide with plenty of tips and favorite places personally written by the property owner, non-smoking apartment!, 6th european floor with elevator (7th us), towels & linens, 80 m2 (about 860 ft2), towel warmer, 2 adults on a round double size bed in a semi private (no door) open upper, “never-out” hot-water with an eco-friendly on-demand water heater, all dishes, cutlery & glasses....Read more

This apartment fits perfectly it's description as a 'chic loft'. It is a great place to stay in a fantastic location. The public transport (metro and bus) can get you easily anywhere you want to go but it is also a great place to walk from. The neighbourhood is diverse with a variety of interesting shops and cafes. I was a bit unsure about being away from home over Christmas but we were delighted to find the apartment decorated to give us the feel of Christmas. We had a truly wonderful time.

We have found VIP are a very easy and straightforward firm to deal with. With everything organised before we leave home, the stress is taken out of our holiday.
This apartment is located between Place de la Republique and the Canal Saint Martin, both of which you can get a glimpse of from the balcony. Although we didn't use this much in February, it is a lovely palce to sit and relax in the evening sunshine (we have also visited in September). The apartment itself is light and spacious but warm and cosy in the winter. It is an ideal location with the oportunity to explore the very interesting neighbourhood and it's diverse shops, bars and restaurants. Whilst transport links to the rest of Paris are very convenient, it is a neighbourhood that encourages starting the day on foot. We found it a wonderful base for our holiday in Paris.

This is a great flat on two levels on the top floor of a typical parisian neighbourhood. It has three balconies overlooking the street below one of which has space for a table and chairs for that al fresco lunch. The kitchen is smart with a four burner hob, oven and dishwasher.
The bathroom is spacious with a good shower. The toilet is small and has the washing machine slotted into a corner.
The main lounge / living area is relatively spacious with large corner couch. The two leather armchairs are comfortable for that after dinner snooze but can be challenging to get out of. The room has a good sized dinning table with a view over the rooftops.
The flat has three bedrooms, one on an upper platform accessed by a steel spiral staircase with glass stairs, this room has a circular bed. The ceiling is low at the eaves but comfortable. The second bedroom has a double bed and a large wardrope, the floor space is not great but manageable.
The third bedroom is hidden behind a glass block wall and has a heavy curtain as a door. It is really a single bed room but comfortable.
The lift to the sixth floor is small and would present a challenge to larger less mobile individuals. The main staircase is spiral in nature with time controlled lighting, take your time and you may find yourself walking down the stairs in the dark.
If you want a real Paris experiance you will get this here, the local bars are very friendly and the Tabac/Bar on the corner is first class. The metro (Republic) is about 500 metres from the flat. Download the app on the Paris subway.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. The flat was nicely decorated and the location in the 10th was off the beaten path and quiet. Since it is only a 5 minute walk to the Republique metro station, we were withing a half hour to all the major sites (e.g Notre Dame, Louvre, Latin Quarter). Our teeage daughter especially liked the little BR! We would stay here again!

We loved our little apartment and found it very convenient to some lovely restaurants and most importantly to the very easy and efficient underground rail system. We were able to get to all the tourist highlights for a minimum of cost and time. I shared the apartment with my husband (we shared the loft with it's cosy round bed) and 3 other female friends. We found the privacy factor a bit of a problem but no one bother too much after the first day. The fact that all cleaning aids were supplied helped us to keep everything clean and even enabled us to do some personal washing. The little balcony was fun although the weather wasn;t too conducive to sitting out there for too long.
All in all a great apartment in an interesting area of Paris

This apartment was well appointed and served us well during our stay in Paris.
The best feature is the location. If you're looking to experience Paris the way
Parisiens do it can't be beat. It has 2 great bakeries within 2 blocks, great
neighbourhood restaurants and local shops. It's within walking distance of the
metro and the train stations. It was easy to get to any location within Paris and
easy to travel by train for day trips.

We were a party of five and fit very comfortably in the flat, which was fitted out beautifully. We particularly loved the balcony overlooking a typical Parisian street. We cooked at home most nights and found the kicthen to be well-equipped. Would definitely book this apartment again.

This is a lovely, stylish flat in a very
interesting area, a mix of traditional shops like
the fabulous bakers only 3 minutes away and
designer shops like Agnes B. Place de la
Republique is at one end of the street and the
Canal St. Martin is at the other. We walked right
down to the Seine one day and another day walked to
the Marais district. I booked this flat because it
had a terrace (quite small but room for 4)- nothing
beats sitting on the terrace in the morning with
fresh croissants from the bakers. It's also very
handy for the Gare du Nord. As it's open-plan (one
bedroom is on a mezzanine floor) you do need to
know each other quite well. Everything went
smoothly from booking to getting the deposit back
for the key. I would go back next week given half
