The apartment has a nice large balcony overlooking the pedestrian market street of rue Buci ('pronounced boo-see'). At 75 m2 (about 800 ft2) it can easily accommodate up to 4 adults and a child sleeping on the living room sofa. The apartment was renovated from top to bottom and offers our guests a great stay. It has an open feeling, with several of the windows opening out to the front balcony and overlooking the buildings around the St. Germain area, with lots of blue sky view!
You will be square in the middle of this lovely and bustling rue Buci market street with all its cafes, flower shops, several bakeries, specialty cheese shops and butchers, and plenty of non-stop restaurants. Odeon metro stop on line #10 is a short 2-minute walk. A bit further is St. Michel for several more transport stops including direct RER lines to airports. And of course, St. Michel is so popular and central, from which you can pop over to the two river islands and visit the Sainte Chapelle 15thCentury church or of course, Notre Dame. So many places to see and such a comfortable place to call your home base!
You will only have to carry up your luggage the first time of course, or assistance can be prearranged if you wish for a small fee, as this property is located on the 5th European floor (6th US) with no elevator. The stairs are wide and not too steep, and we are sure you will be happy to return each day to your spacious and wonderful apartment to relax and enjoy it. The balcony is worth it!
Each bedroom comfortably accommodates two adults. The master bedroom has a queen bed on the street side and includes the balcony. Imagine waking up to that in the morning! The second bedroom has two single twin size beds - one of the singles pulls out from under the other and may be pushed close together, but because they are slightly different in height, they cannot be combined. This bedroom is located on the courtyard. The living room has a large sofa, not a pullout, which would be comfortable for a child up to about 10 years old – sheets, a pillow, and blanket will be provided. There are some children’s decorations and items in the flat that belong to the owners.
This property has two bathrooms, one en-suite in the second bedroom that has a WC, sink, and large walk-in shower. The second bathroom is independent and accessed from the living room and has the same setup as first bathroom and in addition, it has a rainfall type of shower head. Each bedroom and bathroom are of generous size.
The kitchen is large and open to the living/dining area. The dining room table seats five people comfortably, and there is a high bar style counter with three bar stools that separates the kitchen from the living/dining area. There is everything you need in the kitchen to do some serious cooking, or just reheat any items purchased from the delicatessen below!
We are sure you will thoroughly enjoy this area. This is arguably the best of Paris and this apartment is ideal and perfectly suited for many of our holiday renters!

We had a fantastic vacation at this apartment in Paris. The location could not be beat, with easy walking to many famous locations, and close to the Metro as well. The apartment is exactly as the pictures describe. It is clean and well maintained and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable vacation. Due to the number of stairs, it would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues, but is certainly do-able for the average person.

A very well positioned apartment and amazingly spacious for Paris! Right in the heart of the very vibrant St Germain, which is full of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops etc etc. Supermarket across the road, very close to metro stations and very easy to get to from CDG airport.
Main downside is the apartment is on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. But hey, it's good exercise! For the four of us (parents aged 49 and 50) and an 18 and 21 year old, the apartment worked very well for us. Unless you have difficulty with stairs, we would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
