Comfortable, well appointed, roomy, bright apartment made our stay in Paris so enjoyable!

This was a great way to visit Paris. I would definitely recommend this apartment to 3 or 4 people. The only negative is that you will need to take public transportation to the sights they are not in walking distance. The market at Rue Mouffetard was terrific and there were enough restaurants nearby to fit the bill. Read more
Thanks for your review! So true, the apartment is very well situated for 3 to 4 guests. We agree there are great markets and restaurants nearby! An ideal location for someone wanting that local Parisian feel. And all of our properties are less than a 5 minute walk from the metro to allow easy access to the rest of the city! Thanks again and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

We stayed for 4 nights - 3 adults and a 10 month old baby. The apartment is bright, spacious and very well equipped. It was like staying in a friends place. The owner stocked the kitchen with nespresso capsules, a baguette, yogurt, milk and juice. There were lots of towels and a crib/high chair for our daughter. It was extremely comfortable and surpassed my expectations when we booked.
The location is on the edge of the 5th and 13th. Public transportation is convenient though we walked everywhere. There's a Saturday market and great bakeries right down the block ... and the pizza place next door (HotStuff) is not to be missed.
We had an excellent stay and I would highly recommend this apartment. Read more

Awesome Stay in Paris

Love this stay! Enjoy the view of Eiffel tower especially when it lights up at night although only 1/3 of the tower could be seen. Gina, property manager, was nice to show us around the apartment. She's so thoughtful leaving us some fruits, food and drinks to start. There are shops and nice restaurants nearby (i.e. 2-10 minutes walking range). Don't miss the street market on Blvd du Port Royal and it's on Tue, Thur and Sat. 7-10 minutes walking to RER Port Royal Station and 5-8 minutes to Metro Les Gobelins Station. Location is very bus friendly with bus line 21 and 83, which could take you to many popular attractions. You can get a feel how Parisian's daily live in this area and this apartment. Read more

It was easy to get checked in! This place exceeded our expectations In many ways. The pictures and details on the various websites it is advertised do not do it justice. Most places try to exaggerate how nice it is. But not this place!
It is very charming and has all the amenities one could want or need. The washer and dryer is a bonus. It is very large for paris standards. This place is in excellent neighborhood but very close to all the amenities one needs for traveling. A few lovely restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood made this area a bonus. Excellent wraparound balconies with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower from a distance.
It was also very nice having a small elevator in the building.
I can't say enough how satisfied we were!!!
Would highly recommend this to a couple or even a larger party traveling. I can't say enough on how perfect it is!

Very comfortable and roomy apartment that easily accommodated 4 adults (my husband and I and our daughter and son-in-law). The apartment was actually even nicer than we expected; appliances were great and the balcony views of the Eiffel Tower were better than we imagined.
The location was fairly convenient. While not right in the "heart of it all", the Metro made all Paris destinations easily accessible and the immediate neighborhood was homey and offered shops, etc. needed to make a comfortable stay. We would definitely book again.
The Paris experience was priceless because of the apartment and

The appartment was more than expected and the virtual tour does not do it justice. With bus stops directly across the street, the bank on the corner, the grocery store across the street and cafes, it was an outstanding neighborhood. Gina's hospitality and generosity were beyond what could be imagined. We will be back!

Because I want it to always be available for me!! This place was amazing! Gina was very hospitable and explained to my wife and I everything that we needed to know. She made a very nice book of all the details that we should know while staying there. Gina, was fantastic, she left us some starter things in the fridge so that we can have breakfast. This was a very nice touch for us. she was always there for us for any questions we had. Excellent!!
About the property itself: Beautifully redone. Very modern and chic yet elegant and quaint. All the amenities you can ask for so it feels like you are actually living in Paris and not just staying at a hotel. The building is very well taken care of and it has a tiny elevator that fits 2-3 persons max. More than enough for the 2 of us. It has a full kitchen with all appliances and the nespresso machine is a nice touch. So much so that I have decided to buy one for my house!!! Washer/dryer combo unit worked great for us and the drying rack that is there for delicate or non-dryer items is a plus.. I truly felt as though I was at home which was part of the magic of our stay!
The wrap around balcony was fantastic and I sat out on some nights either drinking my 1664 or a glass of wine with my wife and watching the Eiffel tower twinkle in the distance. The bed was super comfortable and the a/C in the bedroom was ice-cold.
We got perfect weather while in Paris so during the day, the windows and french doors were open to let in the breezes.
The neighborhood: Amazing. Not touristy at all and we absolutely loved it. 2 bus lines stop right outside the front door & there are Metro stations on either corner(5 min walk in either direction)with additional bus stops as well. Markets and restaurants are close so everything was 5 min away on foot. Our stay was so perfect and memorable that I am already looking for flights to go back to Paris and stay here! So many more great things to say and not enough space to say it!!! Wonderful Read more
Merci for your kind review! It so pleases us to know you enjoyed your stay in this penthouse! We couldn't agree with you more on the location and set up of the place itself. It is a gem of an apartment and definitely gives you the insider stay in Paris. Our arrival managers do a great job of making it your home away from home. Can't wait to have you back in this place!

Paris at its best

This is our second stay at this apartment. We like the quiet surroundings of Port Royal. However, within minutes, la rue Mouffetard is within easy walking distance. Also, access from Roissy CDG is direct to Port Royal metro, a few minutes walk to the apartment. Such a benefit.
Gina, the owner, is next door. Generous to a fault, attentive to all details including the welcome amenities in the fridge, she ensures your comfort at all times. The apartment is spacious, airy, full of sunlight with its solarium windows in the living room. On those sunny mornings, you can take coffee and croissants on the balcony, up high on the 5th floor, away from the street.
We were 4 adults and there was space for everyone. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and with the market not far away, we found ourselves staying in some evenings at dinner time rather than heading out to a restaurant. In this apartment, we settle in as if we were residents of the city. This is a luxury.

Nice apartment, but no ac in the rooms other than the bedroom. Also street is a extremely noisy, not very restful with the doors open to let air in. A little too far from the things you want to see if it is your first visit to Paris. Also no place to put your clothes in the upper loft. Gina was very nice.
Beware this property is on a very, very noisy street Read more
Thanks for your feedback and we regret any issue at all that compromised your stay in Paris. We always work with our guests to choose the right property based on their budget, location preference and guest priorities.
Indeed, in Paris, street noise can never be fully avoided. If the all the windows throughout the apartment are left open, it's about the same noise that you would find in the West Village in NYC. However, the windows are double paned and there is air conditioning in the bedroom. Also, most if any noise dies down in Paris by 7pm.
The exact location of the property is highlighted on all descriptions including the CobbleStay website. It's 10 mins walk (1/2 mile) to the Luxembourg Gardens. For public transport, you can walk across the to bus stop to Louvre or D'Orsay museum. Or, the RER stop direct to Charles de Gaulle airport.
Thanks again for your feedback.

A really terrific experience in Port Royal/Les Gobelins neighborhood. Beautiful apartment that did not disappoint. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in May 2011 and would highly recommend it. Convenient to Metro and bus stop (to Louvre or Orsay) is at the front gate. A short walk to Muffetard area and Luxembourg Gardens.
This was the best vacation bar none!! We will be returning!

This apartment was just the best decision that we made! It was perfectly located and Gina was awesome! She made everything perfect for us and even helped translate some things for us! We now consider this our Paris home... and the heated towel bar... pure luxury!

Our stay at this apartment was practically flawless. The check in process was easy and our hostess was more than helpful throughout our stay. The apartment itself is beautiful corner unit with terraces on both sides. The kitchen was nicely appointed and it was great being able to eat at home when we felt like it. The high windows make the apartment so bright and welcoming after a day of walking around the city. The area itself is a little far from central Paris, but has easy access to both bus and train lines. We enjoyed the quiet and pretty neighborhood. It is also walking distance from a couple of great neighborhoods as well as Luxembourg Park. We would definitely stay here again; the only downside is that the apartment is on a busy street, so the loft bedroom was a bit noisy during the night.

The apartment was large, airy, and beautifully kept.
Gina, the owner, was very available and patient.
The balcony, all around the apartment, allowed for that typical Parisian feel of being up and away but part of the city.
Walking distance to the Mouffetard Market, theatre, an area we love... easy access to airport...
Space and light are our criteria, and we got this and more

This apartment was beautiful. The owner's artistic abilities were apparent and very welcome. Nice furniture, beautiful linens etc. She welcomed us with a fridge of necessities - milk, bread, butter, jam and so forth as well as fresh flowers. It was so comfortable and there was plenty of room for the three of us. It would be hard to imagine a better setup. The location was superb. Just out of the way of the main touristy areas, but so easy to move around the city with the bus stop just across the street, and RER and Metro within comfortable walking distance. The thrice weekly street market just up the street was pure heaven for me, and I'm sure I was the only tourist shopping there! We thought we'd go out to eat much more than we did because purchasing our own fresh food was such a pleasure - even my daughter's birthday dinner we had 'at home.'

The owner was delightful, generous and helpful. Apartment with all its balconies and light was marvelous; close proximity to shops for meals, airport transportation and buses for getting around town. We would definitely book this apartment again. The verrière was just lovely and the light everywhere in the apartment a real tonic.
