Description
Awesome villa with swimming pool situated in a bi-familiar complex. The house, which is, 150 m.s. is situated in a very calm place, 1.5 km far from the sea and it has a beautiful view on the Aeolian Islands
The house can host 8 people and is composed in this way: 3 bedrooms, an indipendent kitchen, a living room with sleeping sofa, 2 bathrooms. It has a garden as well with an outdoor table so that you can enjoy your meals outside looking at the beautiful sea.
***IMPORTANT***: The house is part of a bi-familiar complex. The other half of the house is inhabited by my parents who are going to use the swimming pool as well. The pool is open from May to October.
* IMPORTANT * : car is HIGHLY recommended

“A beautiful, very comfortable villa for a peaceful holiday.”
Me and my husband plus our two children had a wonderful stay in Patti. The villa was absolutely perfect with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable, very clean and spacious, with a magnificent swimming pool which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The villa is ideally situated for the town, the seaside and as a base for visiting other places around Sicily. Martina and her family were always available for any tips/questions/advise and helped in any way possible to make our stay perfect. We had a wonderfully relaxed holiday and I would very highly recommend Villa Fontanelle, we hope to return to Patti and will look to book the Villa again.

“Beautiful Views”
The villa was lovely, very comfortable and had loads of space for the 4 of us. The views from the pool (unheated so still chilly in April) were amazing. The kitchen could use some more cutlery and cooking utensils etc, but this was minor. It would also be useful to have a folder with maps indicating where supermarkets were and what attractions there may be locally. However the owners were so helpful, came to collect us when we got lost on arrival (the villa is quite hard to find) and escorted us in their car the next morning to try and find the supermarket just before it closed.

“If privacy is what you are after this 'villa' may not be for you”
Overall it was a nice place to stay and the views are fantastic but just bear in mind if privacy is what you are looking for this may not be the villa for you... The accommodation is in fact a part of the larger family villa albeit does have it own entrance and facilities. The view from the pool is fantastic but the pool is shared with the family which we found out shortly before we arrived. I think we were the first to stay for the summer season so the fridge/freezer was not switched on when we arrived. When we did switch it on the smell was awful! Other bits- The rooms are a nice size and do have aircon. Plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen is reasonably basic albeit does have the necessary tools

Response from the owner Dear Guest, I am really sorry to hear that despite having an enjoyable time you did not leave 100% satisfied. At Villa Fontanelle we try to make everything we can in order to make our guests feel better than at home and years of returning customers make us proud of the job we do every day. For what concerns your privacy issues, the listing states that the Villa is a bi-familiar one, I am sorry if it was not clear to you from the beginning but we are always very transparent in saying that the swimming pool is going to be shared with my family (which makes a relatively low use of it, depending on the month of the year). Additionally I believe it has happened only once that a member of my family went to the pool during your stay. For what concerns the freezer, it happens that sometimes previous guests turn it off accidentally and it was not noticed from our side, my apologies for that. Although I do not want to put in doubt the fact that the freezer was smelling bad after you switched it on, be assured that we perform a very in depth cleaning (including fridge and freezer) every time a guest leaves the house. Once again thank you for your review, we value everything our guests have to say about their stay, we take pride of the good reviews and use the not so good ones to keep improving the quality of our service.
