“Great Vacation Home” Just went for two days for the kids mid-winter vacation. The place was lovely. It was very clean and well organized. The beautiful wood and great fireplace created a warm charming atmosphere. Great size bedrooms. Mark was just wonderful to deal with. He was flexible and his instructions for the use of everyting was very clear. We had a large group and found it very comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

About Paupack

The small town of Paupack is the perfect spot for a quaint, quiet getaway.

There's plenty to do, but there’s always the option to stretch out and relax in your Paupack vacation rental. What could better than a few days away just enjoying doing nothing?

About Paupack, Pennsylvania

Paupack is a small township in Wayne County. At first glance, it looks like your average small, traditional American town, but look a little deeper and you'll discover the true wonders of Paupack.

This quaint little town lies on the shore of Lake Wallenpaupack, an idyllic natural lake that acts as a hub for the town and surrounding villages.

Here, you can enjoy water sports and small town events, or simply sunbathe on the shoreline.

It's very rarely overcrowded. The townsfolk will welcome you with open arms, so it will quickly feel like a home away from home. So much so, you may never want to leave!

Explore the entire town and surrounding area. Who knows what you'll find while taking a tour of the hills or the historic parts of town? It's a great spot for all the family to enjoy.

What to do

We suggest spending at least one day on the water. Whether that's relaxing in the sunshine on a private rowboat, or diving headfirst into the cool, calm lake, you'll have a fantastic time!

There are lots of water sports to try during your stay. Try stand-up paddleboarding. It's a great way to build your core strength.

Take a boat out on the lake or, even better, find a good fishing spot and try to get a bite. This spot should be on every good fisherman’s list.

Hike around the town and find spectacular views from almost every trail.

If you're more into a relaxing vacation, visit the spa and go shopping in the quaint boutiques that line the streets of Paupack. You're sure to pick up a souvenir or two!

Top travel tips

Driving to Paupack is a great idea as you'll be able to go further on your adventures. Visit the surrounding villages, or head up to the hills to find the perfect picnic spot.

There are a few shorefront restaurants with beautiful views and fantastic food. Take your pick and have a great evening out.

Paupack is a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet. While there are still plenty of activities to enjoy, sometimes it's just nice to sit back, relax, and just do nothing for a day or two. Whatever your plans, find your vacation rental on FlipKey and book your next trip.
