“So much more than expected!” My wife and I found this place about 1.5 years ago and wanted to come and stay for our anniversary, but it was booked. We knew that we'd love to make it out the next year and so we did. What an amazing experience! My wife and I are drawn to the mountains and we weren't disappointed. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the house is a gorgeous addition to it. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. We brought our 3 year old with us and she loved it just as much as we did; especially the wood stove. Four days was definitely not enough to enjoy the house, the view and the surrounding areas. We fell in love with house and actually ended up spending half of our days lounging around inside, and staring out the huge window in the living/dining room area. Inside the home were notes that helped with the operation of some things. Switches were labeled and instructions for the wood stove were also very helpful. It was very clean and welcoming as well. It was the perfect size for our three person family and we all felt completely at home during our stay. We are looking forward to our next stay here and hope that it is soon and longer than our first. My wife and I very highly recommend Hawks View.

“Yancey Palace” Cabin and property were just what we expected from a mountain home It’s located almost in a pasture with beautiful views all around us Short ride to Burnsville and Asheville We did not meet the owner Annette but did speak with her on the phone. She couldn’t have been nicer We were there a week but will return as we fell in love with the area. Thank you Annette

“Beautiful Saddlebrook” I visited this home with 6 other women and we all loved it. This house is beautifully appointed with everything you need. The babbling creek is truly right next to the house and is so soothing. There was plenty of room and we were all very comfortable.

“Perfect getaway” Is this edited version ok to put on the website? We just had the most relaxing time at Mountain Dream Cabins. We went with very little expectation as this was our first mountain getaway after moving to Charlotte 7 months ago. We absolutely loved it. The cabins are so you have a lot of privacy and we like that a lot. It was great to unwind and disconnect from the world for a short time. “Relax and enjoy the view and the art” This place was so relaxing, rejuvenating and beautiful! Lovely house with all you need. The deck is awesome for enjoying the view, sunning, grilling. You are surrounded by not only mountains but by artist studios throughout the area on the Toe River Studio Tour. Claudia and John were very helpful and all of our contact with them was enjoyed. They can guide you to wonderful hiking locations too. It was so cool to see them at work in their studios creating art. Their studios are in walking distance from the house.
