Description
La Poumayrette is a fabulous, large, restored stone farmhouse in a beautiful area of South West France. It is completely private, with no near neighbours and exclusive use of a large swimming pool (11 metres by 5) . The house is surrounded by well kept gardens, and beyond those nothing but meadows and woods. La Poumayrette is set at the end of a valley with extensive views of the beautiful surrounding countryside.
A wonderful setting for a relaxing holiday - swim, sunbathe, play table tennis or boules (both provided), or perhaps a gentle stroll through the surrounding meadows before an al fresco dinner, listening to the crickets and the call of the owls as dusk falls.
This is an ideal location for a family holiday, but equally popular with friends and couples looking for complete relaxation.
The area boasts wonderful local markets and ancient hill top villages. For those looking for an active holiday the area attracts climbers from all over the world and there is fabulous walking, caving, cycling and water sports on the nearby River Aveyron.

Please don't take glass anywhere near the pool area - plenty of plastic glasses provided.

Animals welcome, but please supervise and don't let them in the pool or on furniture.
It's really important, to make sure that the house is properly prepared fot guests,that you don't arrive before 3.00on the day of arrival, and that you leave by 10.00am on the day of departure.
