Hause Hall Farm and the adjoining Cruik Barn are located in the heart of the Lake District National Park. They are part way up one of the Lake District fells offering views into the hidden valleys of this picturesque area surrounded by mountains, meandering streams and within a short walk of the shores of Lake Ullswater. The Howtown Hotel Walkers Bar is a short walk up the road and open to non residents and also has a restaurant. The award winning Sharrow Bay Hotel is on the shores of the Lake & again is a mile or so walk up the road from Hause Hall Farm. The village of Pooley Bridge is about 4.5 miles from Hause Hall Farm at the head of the Lake and can be reached either by road or via the Ullswater steamers lake boat service which runs from Howtown pier to Pooley Bridge and Glenridding throughout the year. Pooley Bridge has two excellent pubs, tea rooms, village shops and a Tourist Info centre.
