Response from the manager Thanks for leaving us your feedback. I apologize the condo wasn't ready when you arrived. The housekeeping works very hard to have all of the condo ready by 4pm, but occasionally it does take them a little longer on days when we have a high number of same day check-in's and out's. In this instance, rather than the condo being ready by 4pm it was ready by 5pm, but I hope you enjoyed using the pools and being out to dinner while they were finishing up the condo. I checked the refrigerator and it is not a safety issue. There was a stain from a past issue, but it has since been fixed. Glad the condo was stocked well, but sorry the hour delay was so terrible and may prevent you from coming back. We do try very hard to keep all of our guests happy. JD Hallam PKRM Rental Manager

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Our office is closed on Sundays, but we do have a staff member setuping the arrivals on Sunday afternoons. On this day, I was helping that person working to setup the Sunday arrivals. Even on Sundays check-in is still after 4pm as we need ample time to clean the condo following the departure from 10am that morning, so if a guest arrives before then as in this instance the key may not yet be under the mat. Upon arrival the first thing which I said was welcome to the Purple Parrot and let me see if I can go ahead and get you in the condo a little early. Had I realized that the guest was waiting for 20 minutes I certainly would have apologized for the wait. Additionally, had I realized that the guest was going to be arriving early we certainly would have worked prepared the condo sooner. If you might be arriving early, please touch base with the office beforehand so that we may check to see if the condo will be ready early. We want your experience to be a good one from start to finish and would like to be a resource to help plan your vacation from arrival time through departure. More BBQ pits would be nice and insect control around it. I had to spray down good before I started to cook. Otherwise, it was very nice, especially the staff.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
