Description

Welcome to the Banana Bay, a two-story, three bedroom townhome that is just off River Road, a two-lane road that hugs the north shores of Perdido Key. The complex has private beach access on the Intracoastal and a short drive (approx 2miles) along River Road will lead you to the Gulf. The road also has sidewalks, so if you prefer an evening stroll or bicycle ride to the beach, you can do that too! The gated Banana Bay swimming pool is centered in the middle of the complex.

Banana Bay 6078 is a modern residence that has two Master Suites each with their own bathrooms and a third bedroom with twin bunks that leads out to the game room upstairs. Furnishings here are comfortable and contemporary.

The first floor Master Suite has a king sized bed facing a flat-screen TV and walks out onto the covered patio. This Master Suite has the largest bathroom which includes a jetted tub and separate shower.

The first floor is also where the main living area is located. The living area has a large 55' television, comfortable seating on the couch and loveseat, the dining table, updated kitchen with granite countertops and barstools for additional seating. The half bath, as well as a full size washer and dryer, are similarly located on the first floor.

From the living area, you can walk out onto the covered patio that has additional table seating in case you wanted to enjoy drinks and appetizers while savoring the salty breezes from the gulf. The vacation home owners have even supplied guests with two bicycles in the outside storage to use while enjoying the island lifestyle. Use them to ride along the sidewalk down to the beach!

The second floor has the second Master Bedroom Suite, bunk room, and second living area. In the second floor Master Suite, you will find a comfortable king size bed that sits underneath a trey ceiling. This Master Suite also has a television and access to the upstairs full bathroom. The second floor is also where the bunk room is located which has twin size bunk beds and a television – perfect for those traveling with kids!

Banana Bay is located on the north side of Perdido Key which is about halfway between Gulf Shores and Pensacola Beach. This places you equidistant from all the action at The Hangout and The Wharf Village in Alabama as well as fun pursuits at the Pensacola Navy Museum which is home to the Blue Angels and Pensacola Beach here in Florida. Enjoy popular local restaurants like the Sunset Grille which is only a couple minutes away by car and other Perdido Key gems like The Oyster Bar, The Jellyfish Bar, and Lillian’s Pizza. One of the nation’s largest Designer Outlets, Tanger Outlet, is also close by as is the Arnold Palmer designed Lost Key Golf Course which is just across the street.

Was a good home and place to stay! I think the owners should think about changeling management! The cleaning crew does NOTclean!! We had to wash all the bed linens cause they smelled really bad of bod… More
