“Quaint cottage for a couple!” My daughter and her husband enjoyed cabin #7 very much. Our only regret was there was an error in the reservation process, and they were not able to stay in the cabin for three nights, as had been planned. I will try to communicate our needs more clearly next time. At least accommodations were provided elsewhere for the third night at the resort.

“Perfect for the price and location!” We stayed in cabin #4....for the price and location, we were very happy! The accommodations were not spiffy and new but adequate. The bathroom was tidy and clean as was the bedroom and kitchenette. We brought our own food except salt and pepper. The Three Rivers does not supply any kind of "food" or edibles so bring your own salt and pepper. That was the only think lacking. We would go back without question. The location is close to the Taylor River Canyon, Crested Butte and Gothic. 'The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves!

“Worry free week!” Our recent trip to Three Rivers Resort was awsome. The staff was so helpful in every way they could be. After my initial reservation, I had circumstances that caused me to adjust the schedule two times. The staff was very understanding and courteous. The hospitality of all of the employees was excellent. Also the food at the Restaraunt was delicious and reasonably priced. This was a great opportunity for us to introduce a family friend to Colorado for the first time!! Definitely do recommend to all.

“Family Vacation” Very nice. Clean, clean clean. Everything worked. Would stay there again any chance we would get. The river drowns out most all noises which with the cool nights in the summer makes for great relaxing and sleeping.

“Really friendly folks and a super stop!” Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly & helpful and the two bedroom cabin on the river was dandy - comfortably appointed & we wished we could have spent more time sitting on the deck listening to the river or sitting in the hot tub, so we'll be back another time. Our only issue was having a baby with us & not a spare inch of room in the bedroom for her "pack & play" crib. If I had realized from the pictures it would be an issue, perhaps I'd have chosen a larger cabin - just a little more attention to detail on my part would have helped.

“Return to Three Rivers Resort...” This was our first return to Three Rivers since the early 1980's. We rented one Riverfront Cabin, and our son and his family had an identical cabin (with sleeping loft) right next to ours. The cabins, the staff (and their attitudes), the restaurant, and the services and activities provided were all OUTSTANDING! We knew it was going to be a great time together; it was 10 times that!

“just what we wanted” This chalet was perfect...everything about it. This was a very clean, well-maintained cabin equipped with everything we needed. We were right next to the Taylor River and the sounds were so relaxing. The area was booked but we felt like we had it all to ourselves. The smokehouse a few feet away was an added bonus. Everything we ate there was delicious. We are planning another get-away in that cabin very soon!

“My fishing man venture!” I planned this trip for quite some time for the kokanee salmon run for an awesome fishing adventure, I took my girlfriend and my little sister to the resort and they loved the little fishing cabin we stayed in. We were able to get salmon at the roaring judys salmon giveaway and I got to smoke a whole bunch of salmon for the first time it was a pretty amazing trip. This was my first time to almont and I dont think I could have pick a better time. Fall is a beautiful time for Colorado and especially near Three Rivers resort. If you wanna get away from the hustle and bustle of things this is definately the place to go.

“Great space!” We rented this cabin for three couples and three young kids over a weekend for my sister in law's wedding in Crested Butte. The drive into Crested Butte alone made it worth it for me but the customer service and obviously well cared for cabin made the whole weekend easier for us. The kids had plenty of space, in the cabin and on the playgrounds, to play without too many disagreements. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and such that I could ask for. Whenever I went in to ask a question, whoever was at the counter was friendly and able to help.

“Vacation July 2014” Great place, clean and comfortable. Mark Schumacher and staff really make you feel at home and service is excellent. Mark even lets his pets [ Big Horn Sheep ] roam around the grounds and cabins. Quite a sight almost close enough to pet, great pictures. This is a great place to stay with plenty to do in the area. Great Vacation

“It's a fishing cabin” This was our first stay at three rivers. It's a fishing and river rafting hub in the mountains, so you have to keep that in mind. Cabin was nothing more than basic 1960s - 1970,s era Colorado fishing cabin and pictures are very descriptive of cabin. Actual log structure of cabin was much more historic in age. Inside was basic but very clean and well maintained. My wife and I loved it. Our kids thought it was great too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cabin was directly across the street from lodge, store and restaurant (which has very good food). If you went to summer camp as a kid, you'll love this place. If your looking for upscale, hoity toity, head over to Aspen. Otherwise, our family had a great old school family vacation here. TV reception and wi Fi access was very spotty but we did not care....didn't need it anyway as we were having to much fun in the great outdoors and enjoying our family time together.

“Peace and quiet on the river's edge” We found our cabin to be a great place to just hang out. Very little noise other than the sound of the rushing waters of the Taylor River. The cabin was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We didn't use the loft beds but for a small family they would be perfect. We needed a fan in the bedroom at night, ask the resort for one and got it for duration of our visit. We will return and hopefully with our family but use 2-3 cabins.

“First time at 3 Rivers” Great vacation spot. While there took side trips to Gunnison and Crested Butte. Went river rafting on the Taylor River, horseback riding in CB. Lodge room was comfortable, had lots of room, had AC (was pretty warm in the afternoons). Rented the handicapped room and it met all needs. 3Rivers offered lots of activities. Food was delicious at the Smokehouse Restaurant. Scenery was beautiful! Great time ! Service was very accommodating, friendly, really wanted our stay to be the best!

“Awesome..” 3 Rivers Resort is a very clean and friendly place. It has a playground for kids, a horseshoe pit for adults and a very nice restaurant/convenience store/gift store with reasonable prices. Would like it to have a little more privacy as there were people walking between the cabins and talking. But not to big of a deal. We plan on doing it again.

“Our Favorite Resort” This was the first time staying in cabin #61. Usually stay in Cabin #59. If you have never been to TRR you need to check out these cabins on the river. They are perfect for families and have all the ammenities for us "needy" ones. Great covered decks, and there's nothing like the sound of the river to put you to sleep after a long day. This is one of the nicest Co. resorts you can find.

“Three Rivers cabin” Cabin was very nice. Reasonable rate. 2 separate bedrooms were convenient. The bathroom was small but the bedrooms each have their own sink so it works fine, maybe better. Good parking. Has a nice covered porch. Nice kitchenette and ample living room space.

“Nice place to stay” The cabin was very well laid out and very clean. The staff was helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. Breakfast at the little restaurant was very good and inexpensive.

“clean and decent.” The cabin was very clean and had the basic amenities as advertised. The owners/employees were friendly. I got the impression they were very strict on the pet rules... But otherwise it was a nice, decent, clean place to stay. I liked that there was a porch and BBQ grill. It's only ten to fifteen minutes from crested butte..which is why I stayed here...I wanted a cabin feel close to crested butte.

“Perfect Getaway!” Can't say enough about our stay at 3 Rivers. Customer service is key. While the resort is family owned, you would think that the entire staff shared in the ownership. Each staff member displayed consistent courtesy (most remembered our names) and eagerness to insure a great stay! The cabins were well appointed and very clean. The food in the restaurant/bar is great. The staff is a great resource for restaurants and activities outside the resort as well. We will be back!

“This is the place to go when you really want to get away from it” We always stay at the Three Rivers Resort when we visit the almont/Crested Butte/Gunnison area. The location is perfect and the scenery is so beautiful no matter what time of year you visit. We called at the last minute and Vitto took great care to complete our reservation and ensure everything was ready for us upon arrival. We stayed in the lodge this time, but the cabins are very comfortable and affordable too. The greatest thing about the Three Rivers Resort is that they treat you like family, or maybe even better than family. The one thing that bothered me is that the bed was short sheeted but I remade it and it was fine. Ask about the special lift ticket rates if you stay there.

Cozy "Modular" Style 1 BR with Sleeping Loft Cabin at Three Rivers Resort in Almont (#49)
Great experience!

Three of us stayed in the cabin & we had a great time. Clean and relatively new manufactured home. Kitchen was nice, deck and grill were great to hang out on. Main bedroom was a little small, the queen sized bed took up most of it.. Loft "bedrooms" were low headroom with steep stairs, but the web descriptions mentioned that. Folks in the fly shop were very helpful. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but they made us a take out order of pulled pork which was good. This unit is between two RV parking spots. Took away from the feel of the outdoors, but there was no noise or other issues. Internet was slow and logged you off if you used too much bandwidth, but this is a remote location & it's nice to be off the web Definitely would come backsee more
