“Awesome apartment in Salvador!” I have stayed at this apartment multiple times, and it is the perfect apartment if you want to stay on the water in the heart of Salvador with all the conveniences (wireless internet, washing machine,cable TV, microwave, surround sound DVD and iPod connections, etc.). The views from the apartment are amazing! The owner is also really helpful and likes to make sure everything is right for our stay. You won't regret choosing this apartment.

Air-Conditioned Bayfront Condo On Carnaval Route!
Wonderful Bay Views in Very Comfortable Surroundings

We spent 12 days at Lamar's chic condo in the Vitoria section of Salvador, and thoroughly enjoyed the truly spectacular views from the 25th floor over the Bahia de Todos Os Santos(The Bay of all Saints). It was very relaxing having all the kitchen amenities for making breakfast and late night snacks. The beds were comfortable and the whole apartment was clean and nicely frunished. The aC and ceiling fans in the bedrooms were great and would have been greatly appreciated in the living room/dining room, although there are 2 oscillating fans. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The location is central with a short ride by cab to Porto da Barra beach and Barra area or the historic colonial Pelourinho district. There is a small supermarket literally a 3 minutes walk from the building, and cabs are easily flagged down in the street or at the Sol Vitoria Marina Hotel directly next door. There is a bus stop nearby wher you can go to Barra, Rio Vermelho, and the beautiful beaches on the Costa azul, about 40 minutes away. Piata is my favorite about you can get there for only 2.50 reais(about $1.50 us!!) Don't miss the beautiful sunset form Porto da Barra Beach and the beautiful beachront setting of Barravento restaurant just past the lighthouse . The condo's property manager Felipe was friendly and readily accessible and his office is nearby. The only negative review would be that this condo should really be listed as a two bedroom as the 3rd "bedroom" is really a very small, narrow room off the kitchen that has a murphy style bunk bed in what appears to really have been a pantry or storage room, and perhaps children might feel comfortable sleeping there. All in all, The we felt very comfortable in the condo and would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to friends. … see more
