This was a great apartment with modern furniture and amenities. Ample space for the three of us in the 2 bedrooms/2 baths; additional sofabed would've made it possible accomodate a larger group. Full kitchen and washer/dryer made it a good base for an extended stay to explore Philadelphia and beyond. Located just 2 blocks from the metro and regional rail centers made it super easy to catch a train from/to the airport (buy your tickets onboard), as well as local transit travel within the city (we bought the one day family pass and that made it a snap to 'hop on/hop off' public transportation. Several mini-marts located nearby for those overlooked travel supplies, as well as a the Reading Terminal Market for all your meal planning needs. We ate at the market for breakfast and lunch several days and had ample selection for even the most finnicky eaters. Responsive customer service from StayAlfred helped appropriately address any concerns we had about the property. Perfect location for convention center stays, as well; it's literally a block away (and bet this rental is far less expensive than the several major hotel chains adjacent to the convention center). Nearby construction may one day block the view, and it was somewhat noisy during the day, but we weren't 'at home' much during daylight hours, due to the many excellent nearby tourist attractions. Highly recommend the Eastern State Penitentiary after you run up the steps and stand where Rocky stood at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
