Batchcott Hall is an historic country house, occupying an idyllic position on the lower slopes of the Long Mynd, South Shropshire. Providing for up to 16 guests across 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, any sized party or event can be easily accommodated, and with the option of an in-house chef at your disposal, your stay promises to be unforgettable.

Additionally, we can arrange supermarket deliveries, babysitting and additional extras such as hot tub, table tennis table, gazebo etc. Just let us know what you have in mind and we will do our best to accommodate you requests.

Batchcott Hall is usually set up to accommodate 16 people, across five double rooms, one twin room and one bunk room (sleeping four). However, if you have specific requirements, whatever these may be, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss the possibility of accommodating you as you wish. For disabled guests, we have a ground floor double room.

A fully equipment kitchen, with Aga and large kitchen table will give you plenty of room to prepare your food, whilst enjoying the views across the garden. Adjoining the kitchen is the dining room, with large dining table to and open fire.

The main feature of the living room is the large bay window with stone window frame, looking out over the garden and beyond to sweeping countryside. If the views aren’t enough to keep your eyes entertained, there is also a flat screen TV with Sky, and an open fireplace to keep you busy.

Batchcott Hall benefits from beautiful mature gardens, and plenty of space for kids, as well as a sunken trampoline and full-size tennis court.

Being located in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the walking and hiking nearby is superb.

Fishing, cycling, golf, hill walking and fell running are all popular activities locally, and are all on our doorstep.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Campbell (the owner) a message.

If Campbell (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
