This historic waterfront building is ideally located for touring P.E.I., Cape Breton and mainland Nova Scotia - or for just loitering. Last year indicated it works very well for families with room for kids to run around.

Additional Location Information

The ground floor of a classic maritime waterfront building built by Samuel Cunard (Cunard Steamship Line) in 1832, this apartment is across the street from the Pictou Lobster Hatchery (adopt a lobster) and the Northumberland Fisheries Museum and one block (in sight) from the Ship Hector replica and Heritage Quay. The oldest building on the waterfront, Cunardhouse is within 5 minutes walk of several restaurants, bars and historic buildings. Pictou is a central location for visits to Prince Edward Island (ferry 11 Km.) Cape Breton Island (1 hr.) and Halifax (90 min.) and many warm water (the warmest water north of the Carolinas) beaches along Northumberland Strait (the nearest is 10 min.). Now that you are exhausted, it may be time to sit on the veranda, watch everchanging waves and see the people and boats pass by. 'Nough said.
