Villa Veneto is a luxurious 15th century villa sets in the center of a nice village at the foothills of the Dolomites. It provides an excellent holiday setting for family and friends. It is a Renaissance villa with both modern and luxurious touches. All living areas are furnished with a mix of modern Italian design and antiques that have belonged to the owner's family for hundreds of years. There are spacious rooms with high ceilings and private bathrooms offering a comfortable accommodation. The garden of two acres features an 18-meter swimming pool and a secluded seating area under the monumental chestnut tree.
During your stay at Villa Veneto you can experience all the marvelous things that the Veneto has to offer within easy reach. The villa is an hour drive from Venice, Padova or Treviso. The area is well known for its food and excellent wine and the nearby mountains offer fantastic walks, bike trails and ski facilities. Through the impressive entrance hall, decorated with giant swords, the family's battle standard, armature and statues, you enter the villa (2000 square meters--nearly 22,000 square feet).
On the ground floor, to the right of the entrance, there is a living room with fireplace and two white sofas, a dining room, a fully equipped designer kitchen with a traditional Venetian open fireplace. The kitchen opens up to a newly restored portico and has a view of the rose garden. From the dining room, a door opens into a laundry room equipped with washing machine, dryer, iron and iron board. On the left of the entrance there is a room with an ancient wood table which gives access to a second living room.
On the first floor there is a large living room with fireplace, blue sofas, writing desk and chess table. On the left of the living room there are a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. Both bedrooms have original frescoes dating back to 1823. On the right of the living room there are a TV room with flat screen satellite TV, CD and DVD player, a master bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath and two separate showers, a double bedroom with en suite bath and separate shower. This bedroom gives access to a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower.
The remaining empty buildings of the property are the old stables and granaries where the silk production of the family's farms used to be dried.
Three extra bedrooms are available on request, which can expand the villa capacity to 16 persons.
The additional charge per extra bedroom is 975 Euros in high season and 745 Euros in low season.
Internet access (WIFI) and iPod dock stations are available.
Villa Veneto is a non smoking villa. Two nice dogs live in the garden of the property.
