We really enjoyed our stay at the appalachian Mountain Hideout cabin in November 2013. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very nicely decorated. We chose this cabin specifically because we were looking for a handicapped and pet friendly cabin. This cabin definitely fit all our needs and then some! We had a total of 8 people that stayed and everyone was comfortable. The 4 king size beds were very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was put to good use several evenings of our week long stay!
The only problem we had was we had animals that tore into the garbage container on the porch - but that is nature!!! Not much you can do about that!
The location was a little tricky to get into and out of...had to be careful as you backed out of driveway. The turn into the driveway was on a hill and in a curve..so made it awkward to back out.
I would have liked to see a recliner or ottoman in the living space for additional comfort - but that is only a suggestion and certainly not something that would prevent me from returning to this cabin.
I would certainly stay at this cabin again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My family and I stayed in appalachian Mountain Hideout for a family getaway and it was fabulous! We had such a great time. The bedrooms all have king beds and are very spacious. The upstairs game room was a lot of fun. We were able to have a little family competition while visiting. The hot tub was something I looked forward to and it did not disappoint. We have already talked about vacationing to the cabin again in the fall. Customer service was great. Thank you for a great family vacation.
