Not much country charm to this place. A more apt name may be dark, dirty and dingy. Not up to the Wyndham name for sure. The cabin was unkempt and dusty. Light bulbs were burnt out, fixtures nonfunctional. Furniture old and worn out. Carpet was dirty. There were bugs and spiders throughout the cabin. The hot tub was very dirty and scummy. We called upon arrival to ask that it be cleaned and sanitized. Nobody came that night, though we were told twice they would. The next day we called again and were told that it had already been cleaned, but it was obviously still unsanitary. After the fifth call, and an argument with the manager, we were finaly told it would be drained and cleaned that day. When we got back, it was indeed finally clean and usable. Frustrating that it took five phone calls and two days to get that accomplished, especially since they charge a $70 cleaning fee upon booking. (That was not refunded either, even though we requested it to be.) All in all, not a good value and certainly not what I would expect from the Wyndham name. There are much nicer cabins and management to be found all over the Pigeon Forge area. Look elsewhere.

We had a nice stay and this cabin is architecturally beautiful and nicely decorated. However there was deferred maintenance. The stay was not very luxurious and beds especially pull out sofa not the most comfortable. Cabins are the best accomodation you can have in Pigeon Forge Gatlinsburg area. Everything else seems to be motels. It was nice to cook our own meals after a day of hiking. The cabin is facing a wooded lot/beautiful view of the woods. There are playful squirels to watch. Hot tub is older. Pool table older and not balanced. If I owned such a cabin I would not rent it. There was only 4 of us although cabin sleeps 6. There is king bes and 2 pull out sofas both uncomfortable. It is pitty to let some less careful renters ruin the place. I suppose that with owners living in different state nobody really cares about the maintenance. Beautidul landscaping all around it. There is no cell or internet signal which is a positive for resting but it is negative if you want to look up hikes and directions. Kroger grocery is very close and has everything you may want to eat.

This was our first cabin experience and it was a very good one.
Pros: neat, charming, semi-secluded, great location
Cons: poor lighting in the living room, Direct TV channels were not free, no WiFi, poor cellphone reception
