“Wonderful Family Home” Our family had a wonderful time in your beautiful home - everything we needed was there - nothing was lacking. There was plenty of room and sleeping arrangements for everyone! We were able to drive to the snow to go sledding for the day and then come right back and play board games the whole night. What a wonderful way to re-connect as a family! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us! We look forward to returning with family and friends!! Julie even called us to check up on how we were doing. We really appreciated all your hospitality!

“Fun Bachelor Weekend” This house was fantastic. We brought 11 guys up for my brother's bachelor party weekend. It was the perfect place for us to stay altogether (comfortably). There were more than enough beds and the kitchen was nice and large. In addition to its size, the location was great - close enough to the general store and the golf course. I highly recommend Heidi's Retreat (and Pine Mountain Club, generally) for a weekend of golf, hiking and even jousting!

Enjoyable stay in the mountains

My family of 5 stayed at Chris's cabin in July 2015. We had a great time and loved the cabin. Communication with Chris was excellent from the time I booked the cabin right through to our stay there and afterwards as well. After I booked the cabin, Chris arranged a call and we spent about 15 minutes going through everything, including access to the cabin, rental agreement and arranging the provision of linen as we were traveling from Europe. Many of Chris's guests are from LA so it makes sense for them to bring their own linen (remember this is a cabin in a mountain village resort), but that wasn't an option for us. Close to the time of our arrival, Chris had to change the lock on the front door of the cabin. He notified us by email in plenty of time and requested that I confirm that I had received the notification, rather than take a chance that I might have missed it while travelling. The cabin itself is exactly what you would hope for, for a mountain cabin. It is in a quiet, peaceful location and is approx 15 minutes walk from the Pint Mountain village centre. Chris has everything in the cabin well labelled and I have no doubt that if we had any problems locating anything he would have been able to tell us exactly where to find it. We made us of the pool in the village centre while there, which was great on a hot July day. There are several mountain trails in the area. We didn't have enough time in the area to do all of there. As we were there in July, bug repellant is needed. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Chris's cabin and would be very happy to stay there again, if we're ever in that part of the world again.see more

White Christmas

This is a very large home in a beautiful mountain location. Very comfortable for my family of 10, which included adult children and grandchildren. Julie was great with communication and set up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. We woke up to snow on Christmas morning. Couldn't have been more perfect. Hope we can visit again!see more
