My boyfriend and I had a Groupon for mountain climbing and decided on the Telstar cabin because it was in the same area. The size was perfect, stocked with any amenities we could need. It was late November, but the cabin stayed as warm as we wanted it to and the community bonfire pit was a good bonus. The area is secluded enough but still not far from the trails and the town. There is a really great bar down the street for hanging out with some of the locals as well. Sam is great. He's friendly, greets you at the door, and cares a lot about his customer service and his company. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I stayed here over a snowy weekend in February. We really enjoyed the fire place, which we kept burning most of the day. Paired with the heating system already in the cabin, we stayed quite warm during our stay. The cabin had everything we needed (we were informed to bring our own matches) and it is beautifully crafted. The cabin is right next to one of the park entrances so trails (all of which were closed due to the snow) and many of the sights of the gorge are close by. We had an easy check in, since we arrived late the first night and the facilities were clean and well kept. There was plenty of comfortable seating as well. Sam is great and incredibly helpful and we're sure to visit again soon.

A group of 5 friends and I stayed here on a climbing trip for a few nights. We were so pleasantly surprised by the cabin -- it's extremely cozy, warmly decorated and strategically placed (only a 15 minute drive to our climbing destination and close to a multitude of hiking trails and natural arches). The owner was surprisingly friendly, hospitable and helpful.
Our only regret was not reserving the cabin for more nights. It was a huge asset on our trip.
“This is in the perfect location for sightseeing the area.”

Sam the owner came by to check on us and we had a nice visit with him. This year is our 25th wedding anniversary and we have been going on several small getaways to celebrate. This cabin was a very romantic little getaway joining the park at the entrance. It's in a country setting so make sure you take what you need with you (food, drinks, etc.) No shopping centers nearby. Just what we were looking for, privacy, along with beautiful sightseeing.

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Sam was extremely helpful in setting me up with a local florist to have flowers at the cabin when we arrived, we were celebrating her birthday at the cabin. Who wouldn't love "Stuby". Take some groceries with you, not much close. We will go back, beautiful area
