Description

Anchor House is a stunning, modern property with outstanding views over the harbour and sea beyond. With the highest standard of finishings throughout and luxurious features such as balconies and fully retractable full height windows to bring the outside in, you can be assured of a relaxing break in the beautiful surroundings of the East Neuk of Fife.

With historic St Andrews a short drive away, numerous renowned golf courses and miles of scenic coastal path to explore, the East Neuk offers many attractions for those visiting the popular holiday destination.

Anchor House has four bedrooms, and accommodates 10 adult guests with provision available for up to two additional infants. There are three double bedrooms (one has an en suite shower room) and a bedroom which has two sets of bunk beds.

Spacious living areas include an impressive kitchen which opens directly onto the terrace and two of the bedrooms open onto a balcony; the perfect place to take in the gorgeous East Neuk sunrises and sunsets.

With off street parking as well as plenty storage for holiday gear or golf clubs, you'll immediately feel at home in Anchor House. In fact, you may not want to leave!

“A beautiful mix of modern and homely.”

We stayed as a party or 6 for a wedding in the next town. The house was absolutely perfect. Spotless - extremely well kept and had everything we could have needed for the weekend The views from the back bedrooms and kitchen/living area are breathtaking - the modern kitchen diner and by folding windows meant that the mild afternoons we could spend with a sea breeze. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We had an absolutely magical weekend and will definitely be recommending and hopefully visiting again in the near future.

“Outstanding Property”

We hired Anchor House for 4 days for a family get together. 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. We had an amazing time. The house is perfect for a group holiday. Loads of space, the kitchen/ dining area is a fantastic space with glorious views. The house is very well provisioned although the dishwasher needs repaired, but that’s a small gripe in an otherwise perfect place. The owners have provided loads of info and recommendations for the local area. We walked to St Monans fish sheds and bought delicious fresh fish for our barbecue. We would highly recommend this property and hope to come back someday.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
