"Excellent Ft Myers Beach 2 bedroom/2 bath condo."
Left on 04/07/2016 for a stay in March 2016
Rented this condo in March 2016 and loved everything about it. It is a secure condo with comfortable furnishings in a quiet section of Ft Myers beach. The only very minor issue was the fact that the water pressure was a bit on the lower side, but that is probably something that the condo owners have no control over. I would gladly recommend this condo to anyone looking to rent a 2BR/2 Bath condo.
"Very open and accommodating beach house!"
Left on 06/23/2015 for a stay in June 2015
This was my families first time at Ft. Myers. We had a wonderful time. This house was a beautiful beach house. The drive way was a little smaller then the pictures looked, but that was OK, we made it work. The front doors are beautiful huge glass doors. Once you get inside you are welcomed into a very open setup. There are two washer and dryers, which was extremely convenient. This house had all the beach feel we wanted. The road to cross was never busy, we could almost walk right up to it and cross. The beach area was never crowded. Besides from another family or two we were the only family in that area. The only negative comments I would say is to bring your own pot holders, none were provided. As well as some extra dish towels, there were only two. The pans were kind of aged, but they worked. Also if you are traveling with a large group be prepared for some grumpy neighbors. On our last night there, Ron came to us and said we had a complaint about us being loud at 1 am. I know this was not true, when we were all in bed by 11:30, and we made sure the kids weren't swimming after sunset. And that our cars were parked on the street (My moms tires were on the street, not blocking at all). However, Ron was very nice about it when he approached us, and we squeezed our cars all in. It just kind of put a damper on the whole vacation due to some grumpy people. Also a king bed, the queen and trundle bed are right off the living room. The walls are thin and if you want to try and go to sleep before others, it...
"Very Nice, With A Couple Caveats"
Left on 03/17/2016 for a stay in March 2016
We enjoyed our week-long stay at Palm Harbor 504. We arrived just after sunset and our first impression was seeing the beautiful sky through the many windows facing the gulf and the marina. The place was clean and well-decorated. The master bedroom was large and included a sofa-bed, with a walk-in closet, a huge walk-in shower, and a double sink. The toilet was in a very small room with nothing on the walls, so it seemed like being in a closet, but it served its purpose. A sliding door leads to the large lanai, which could also be entered from the living room. We love to dine outside, and the lanai easily accommodated five adults. There are two smaller rooms with queen beds, with a full bath to share. The kitchen was nicely stocked, and we ate most breakfasts and lunches at "our" condo. At first we had trouble with the ice-maker jamming, but once we cleared out the jam and stopped using crushed ice we were able to get cubes to come out just fine. The only semi-major reservation I have about this building is its location right next to the Fish Tale Marina. While it was great to be a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Santini Mall and the marina is certainly picturesque, the boats are stored on multi-level racks and a forklift brings them in and out of the water pretty much constantly from 8am on. It didn't bother us all that much, but it's worth knowing about. I will also mention that the Fish House has moved out of its marina location and a new seafood restaurant is opening there soon. On the positive side, the walk to the beach is short and there's an easy place to cross the road in front of CVS. The...
"Charming beach house"
Left on 03/13/2016 for a stay in February 2016
This house is a charming, well-kept old Florida home. The owners have updated the living areas and have added everything you would possibly need. There was no shortage of amenities. The kitchen has excellent appliances and utensils, just what one would like at their own home. The decorating is clever and colorful with the tropical theme. The master bathroom is nice sized with a large shower area. The bathroom for the other two bedrooms is small but adequate. Even though the homes are very close to each other, we still got a sense of backyard privacy out the deck and down the steps onto the beach area. The living and dining rooms have large three panel sliding doors onto the lanai and the open deck. These are our favorite areas of the house and they all face the beautiful beach and Gulf of Mexico. I really loved this home and hope to come back.
"Just like home,"
Left on 03/26/2016 for a stay in March 2016
We were very pleased with every aspect of the accommodations. This place is not just a regular renting property but every detail that is needed to make you feel like home is in this house. The place was very clean, excellent location, close to downtown, beach and grocery store. We met the owner who lives next door, was helpful in every way. But also afforded us with privacy. We highly recommend the place and we would gladly return.
